I used to run GoPros on my channel for years. From the 3+ all the way to the 10. I bought the Action 3 and was super impressed. No software glitches, no SD card mis-reads, no random power offs, no overheating, etc. I just got the Action 5 Pro and just wow! Also picked up the DJI Mic 2 for wireless mic connection.
I've had a few Go Pros but picked up an Action 4 recently. Much prefer it over the Go Pros. Plan to pick up a 5 as well. The better low light performance Dji offers is a big plus to filming Mtb videos.
@@RunRideHikeThrive The max lens mod does provide buttery smooth videos that's for sure. I'm going to bump up to Rocksteady+ on the DJI and see it's smoother without sacrificing too much quality.
@roderik_b I have and maybe it's too smooth. I'm going to try regular Rocksteady but without another camera on the rig. I also have a foam cover for wind noise because turning that up on the camera mutes a lot of ambient trail sounds. It's a work in progress.
I have a hodge podge of cameras too. Use each one for its different strength. The wifi dji 2 mic in the action 4 was a game changer. But Go pro 11 Makes better slow motion and does a lot of other things just better. The Action 3 is better with zoom, for digital anyway. They all have certain strength.

@@TheRCNetwork Yeah the interface is better and more responsive too. I have the Lark Max but haven't tried to pair yet.

I got a GoPro 12 black and just add the magnetic mounting for different angles and I'm happy with it
For being a GoPro 10, it's doing pretty good against the latest.. 👍 Lot smoother Vid too. Right on! Great comparison.

@@VisionMTB Already created videos with Rocksteady+?
