It depends on the kind of mission what the top is called. I think if it stays on it's a nose cone as someone below said, and if it's jetissoned, it's a Payload Fairing that's usually split in the middle and gets separated from the payload once it's no longer necessary for aerodynamics :P
I made and ate this yesterday :D So much fun! In the heat of summer the candy gets super super sticky and almost too soft to mold but I made it work. The rocket body is certainly gum. My baby and I had fun while I made gum bubbles and he popped them. Great fun!

Holy zooids! I think the thing on the top of a rocket is called a nose cone... I'm not sure, the only experience I ever had with rockets was way back in fourth grade when we launched tiny wooden ones. Cute rocket you've got there! Oh, and you also have really great nail polish!
