- England captain Harry Kane has confirmed he is leaving Tottenham, ahead of his move to Bayern Munich.
He flew to Munich on Friday to undergo a medical examination.
“It's not a goodbye because you never know how things pan out in the future,” Kane said in the video, “but it's a thank you and I'll see you soon.”
Kane leaves Tottenham after 19 years at the club, where he became the second highest-scoring player in Premier League history but never won a major trophy.
The reported fee for Kane would easily break the Bundesliga transfer record set when Bayern signed French defender Lucas Hernández from Atletico Madrid in 2019.

I am a proud Chelsea fan and frankly of Harry and Son. Its sad to see the end of the duo but always wanted to see Harry in a better environment. Could’ve stayed one more season run his contract down and gone to any club of his choice. MU are the most set team and a striker in Harry Kane would’ve suited them and they could’ve challenged for the prem.

Bayern are only not the leaders because we have played a game less than Leverkusen due to snowfall having the game postponed. By January we’re first again. And he already said before he’d trade his next 100 goals for a trophy, he cares about his legacy more than a stupid record that someone will come along and break anyways. Titles last forever. And Bayern is far more likely to win either a UCL or a domestic title than any other English team not named Man City, who already have a star striker in Haaland. You’re dumb.
