    Thank you
    Hi
So, sooner than I expected, my little Corsa broke down...
Well, did not broke down exactly, but took the opportunity to tackle a few thinks...
One of them, was an injector leak... the injector was covered in carbon, and was not easy to remove...
Follow me on this video to find out what was the problem and how to resolve it.
    NOTE:
Ideally, you would use the tool to clean and gentle re-surface the bottom of the injector pits. Unfortunately, I don't have one, so had to do it just with a good clean.
    Hope you enjoy the video.
Any questions or comments put them below.
Like always, thank you for watching!

Atf fluid+acetone mix 70:30 soak it over night and in morning they will came out without problem. Also when installing this cooper seals on 1.3 cdti/jtd they tend to leak in head so to make good contact that will last you need to use injector seat reaming tool.

This is my world . The last cylinder head I threw away was a few weeks ago . Peugeot 807 . I have every slidehammer , hydraulic pullers , seat cutters , accessories for all vehicles . And not the cheap stuff from wherever . Quality that costed me thousands of Euro's over the years . Don't let anybody tell you that every injector can be removed . Hell I even own a magna drill and high end milling bits . Be carefull for your own sake if you take on a job for a client . I let them sign a weaver . I do this also for glowplugs , the same . Lucky for you it came out . I have pulled injectors in half . I love my job but sometimes , I hate it . The diagnostic side is fun but sometimes I am afraid they ask me to fix the problems. Your video shows one of those scenarios

    • @beluxauto5968
      @beluxauto5968 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

@@josepeixoto3384 Smart question but no . Injectors are mainly removed when the seal / copper washer has burnt and the injector starts leaking. Torque spec doesn't change. You would only be tightening them down which will probably result in breaking of the stretch bolt's used for injectors. When you encounter a leaking injector seal and you follow the right procedure for installation like cutting the mating surfaces of the cylinder head and the injector, cleaning etc . You apply a coat of ceramic grease on the body of the injector. Doesn't help prevent the washer to burn but at least you will never have a problem removing a seized injector.

That is in * E V E R Y * DI diesel, with their L O N G injectors, and that is all diesels nowadays (just not my 5 or 6 cars, Monterey, etc,i do not own DIs,only older indirect injection ones, mechanic's cars, they are smoother,--the first diesels were DIs,then the prechamber was invented, and lasted until the 90s,then the Climate Gang forced the changes, like DIs and EGRs ...whodahell would think of recirculating the poop -- always hated the vibrations they used to transmit into the car; but to be truthful, each case is different, some DIs are amazing,in that they transmit almost no vibes to the driver.

Hi, my daughter today spotted the smoke from under the bonnet and when I've checked what's going on, it was the blowing around the second injector.
Today I will remove the injectors to check what happen. Ideally would be to have washers set, but there is no any in the area. None in GSF, none in ECP none on amazon, and on ebay some located in Germany or in eastern EU. I wonder where did you get the washers ? Shouldn't be there somewhere another seals like o-rings ? I saw german e-bay listing where there were copper washers and black o-rings together.
    Thanks :)

I had to drive 50 miles (in total) to get the seals today, but job is done.
What is strange - these seals are universal and fit to probably 100 of different cars. How it's possible that GSF and ECP have replacement injectors (that are being sold without seals), but they don't have seals for those injectors?

@@LMAutoRepairs ok, thank you for response. It's just that my car (Corsa D cdti eco flex) has a similar problem, it's starts ok on the initial start, but after the car has been driven for a while, it struggle, especially on a really hot day, I would have to leave the car to rest and cool down for at least 30 minutes for it to start again. I ordered some reconditioned injectors, but I tried to take out the current ones and won't budge.

@@LMAutoRepairs Without any doubts your channel is one of the most relevant and enjoyable to follow.
We can learn, see how to do it, have some ideas and offer to you our thanks and support for the time and dedication.
The video editing is fine and will improve as you have new ideas and concepts, but the time-lapse with music (special the ones in the youtube) are depreciated of the work and removes the joy of see it.
Maybe you can find a new band in the region that could build a soundtrack to you but the "cheap" dings dings dings of youtube are annoying.
But you are correct, as soon as you have audience it will be impossible to make everybody happy, and without any reserves I will continue to follow your channel... but with some "mute" on it :)
      Thanks for all!
