This video is definitely inspired by Ting Ting ASMR! I loooveee her videos with the doll head and wanted to do one for ages. There are only so many ways to do a scalp check so I tried to do it my own way but of course some things will be similar. I also did it soft-spoken for a change :) Hope you like it!
Also using my new mics. I set it up a bit wrong, one was facing outwards -_- But bare with me haha, ill get it good next time.

Ting Ting’s scalp check video is one of my favorites, so I love that you did your own version! Watching one actually play with the hair gives me way more tingles too.

Right?? I watch videos with millions of views or accounts thousands and thousands of subs and I'm like ....... really? I never understand the hype.
Different strokes for different folks right? Plus the ASMR field is congested now. A few years ago you didn’t have a third of the options you do today. Exposure is easier now that it’s much more mainstream, but the competition is much more stringent.

These actually pick up pretty binaurally. I’d say more so than the rødes, and can be compared to the blue yeti. I’m thoroughly impressed Bc I never get tingles from the 3-Dio or rodes Bc like it pics up whispering super good, but they have the versatility of the rode mics. These are better at picking up the inbetween “headspace” if you will, and Thad what makes your ASMR unique and my favorite for me. Like, it’s a style that I like. Idk I just dead ass do not watch anyone religiously like I do you Bc they can’t replicate how realistic your sounds feel. gg ann ::)

i think when you are doing external triggers (meaning stuff that isn't on the mic) like playing with a doll head the røde mics are better at picking up the sounds. these new ones you got sound great when you are brushing them or directly in contact with them, but it was a little hard to hear all the great sounds and movements you were making - when i turned up the volume it was a lot of white noise and still not a lot of the detailed sounds that the rodes can pick up from this kind of scalp check
i still REALLY loved the video though!

I LUV! this vid but my phone/headphones play voices at a higher volume than other sounds using some sort of AI programing, ( I believe ) so it got loud in a few parts but still very tingly and like the soft spoken stuff it's a nice little change, I like just about everything you do, if it helps with my insomnia I'm a very happy person

i love ting tings hair videos! but i sometimes feel they r *too* perfect, like with a lot of the asian asmrtists. like everything is so perfect and planned that it doesn’t give me as many tingles. although they’re often cinematic masterpieces to watch!
but nothing beats for me ur style of asmr. thoughtful but still rough enough for me to get tingles. love how there’s so many types of you guys to suit whatever mood/style we like!
