The Reloop Elit3 is half the price of the other two here in Australia. $1399 for the Elit3, $2699 the S9 and $2799 the Seventy-Two. That makes a defining choice for me.

It's also the only one that you can achieve zero latency.
Some more tweak fx thrown in for the reloop elite also would be absolutely perfect for the next firmware update
Not out yet. But the RANE 70 is the best of all three products you guys are looking at above. I would choose right now with the S9 cause it works with two software's which is a huge plus

Only if you find a way to connect the Rane to Traktor. Otherwise you got bad latency.
I need to try out the other mixers, but the magvel fader pro is just a work of God that has a strong point in my heart

It's all about the latency, which apparently only Traktor can do (and they lack a good mixer). Any Serato setup has latency. Yet, I guess if you use the "DJay Algoriddim" app with the ReLoop Elite, it's been fixed to almost no latency! This is why I've still been holding off moving away from vinyl. Gotta try that setup now! Any technical DJ cannot stand any latency, especially if you've grown up playing wax....

I've had the reloop elite since June. I love it 90% of the time but I've had ongoing problems. The plastic buttons on the top half (FX on, LOAD etc) are brittle and I've had 4 break now. Also the USB A input has stopped working completely and the one of the Tweak FX knobs has developed an intermittent fault. I now have to return it. Hopefully I was unlucky with my unit but I'd be interested to know if anyone else has had issues
Ive read a few issues with the buttons being brittle. I was very much considering the reloop . I think Ill wait for the rane 70 to drop and wait for more reviews after a few month
Good shout I’m looking for a new mixer and the reloop is a tempter at the price but hearing this I think I’m more interested in the 70.
How hard are you pressing these buttons? I’ve had it for 6 months and I love it.
That's what I was afraid of. Rane uses MPC buttons. But all of the Rane mixers have bad latency issues, which us techy scratch dj's cannot stand.
Reloop need to update the fx section on the Elite. The fx on button interferes with the playback. Maybe the fx 1 2 and 3 buttons should be the fx on buttons. Looking forward for some firmware updates. Cross fader upgrades too for reloop Love the pads on my reloop. Maybe there's a trick to applying the effects correctly I just figured out. You need to select the effect button/buttons then hit the Fx on button or hold temporarily. Well that's it I have it sussed ladies and gentlemen. Sorry Reloop I'm a noob to this mixer. But am getting good at applying Fx. Rekordbox has some of the best Fx applications I have ever seen in a DJ Software. I love you Reloop Pioneer Serato. You make me happy in a sad world
I quite like the faders. I didn’t realize how much bigger the pads were until you see each mixer next to each other.
Paul Smith Hi Paul i have the same problem with effect on my elite, when i press on or hold button interferes with playback so bad, and the effect for example “echo” sounds bad, and it looks as if it isn’t synchronized, is the same for you?
@@DaveDomenicano Hi Dave get yourself a Pioneer DDJ XP2 as a cherry on top that will compensate. Its a beautifull Add On for Serato and Pioneer I absolutely love it. As for Reloop I hope they have some nice firmware updates on the way for the Elite. What a beast of a mixer. Hopefully Reloop throw in more features. Some more Tweak FX would be awesome a reverb echo and Delay would be cool.

I spend 1050€ for the Reloop Elite and don’t wanna spend more money for buying another instrument or controller for compensate the problem, so if reloop don’t say that can fix this effect problem, i will return for buying the Rane 70 or Pioneer S9.
Does the reloop elite have Transport mode? Or can it be mapped/enabled for transport mode?
Please do this again with the Reloop Elite, newest Rane (72 MK2?), and Pioneer S11.

@@djkit Thanks DJK! Besides a general comparison, one big thing I'm trying to do is see if it's possible to recreate Vestaxs Controller 1 turntable notation controls (of 12 notes of the sample, vibrato, and octave controls) with the sampler pads (for at least 12 different notes + octave changes) and faders, etc. (for vibrato control) on any of these mixers. Would be sick to cover if that's at all possible as well.
I am sorry I did not see this earlier. Good review. Because Rane 72 has screen you don't need to look at laptop. Would you also be able to start/stop/cue songs from the touchpads? If so you could DJ without bringing turntables. Just want to be sure. Thanks
Do you remember your preferred setting for the cross fader on the Elite? I’ve got mine set to 0.1 and the sound bleeds through if you don’t hold it over. I’m definitely going to adjust it tomorrow. I just assumed the lower the better.
Hey Jmoak311. The Innofader is sensitive to 0.1mm which is a super small amount of space. The faders and the firmware were designed to get you super close to bleeding so Djs can adjust the fader from super sharp to 2.6mm. Just back it down and try different adjustments until you get the right feeling for you. A little more gap defines the cuts anyway. Super sharp isnt always the best for everyone.

Moving on from a controller to the elite and two Rane 12's what would I need additionally to connect it all up? New to this realm I guess... I have my speakers cables already

Reloop also need to convert this mixer to work with Rekorbox also I think that would be nice if Pioneer worked with more mixers it would be great. Mixars Native Instruments Rane Reloop Pioneer should map them out too work with all dvs mixers for Rekordbox Dvs Its time for rekordbox to Open up a bit more like Serato and become more versatile/universal
Pioneer treats Rekordbox like Apple treats IOS. They only want the software to be used with their hardware and it actually works better than Serato because of that, But Pioneer DJ was just sold to a Japanese printer manufacturer so changes for the better or worse is on the horizon.

Courses for horses! The S11 has a lot more features than the Elite, the biggest one being the screen!
@@djkit the elite has better fader though-a screen doesnt compensate for that-i guess its the reason of the user
a bummer that reloop elite doesn't control serato studio like pioneer s9. not to be a troll, but wish there was a way to get a product that does the best of all worlds
The beauty of all the equipment these days is firmware updates! Have you posted this request in the Reloop forums? They might take note and get it implemented!
EDIT: My opinion below doesn't include the ELITE, because i haven't tested it yet.
I've had 2 out of 3 of these mixers and hands down S9 is still the best for pro djing. Even the Rane 70 mixer is not as good, why, crappy small knobs, distorted sound on highs when playing music loud-(the mids and lows are good) the Rane mixers are dumb heavy for no reason unless your using it without a case lol.
The S9 has two cryptonites that hopefully they fix/add on the S10, no headphone split cue and no left right speaker effect knob.
**Pioneer or any dj company IF YOU SEE THIS COMMENT: Hire me, i can design the close to perfect mixer for pro djs pleeeease.

Mike Beats maybe your mixer is defective, because I love the sound of the 72 more than any of the pioneer mixers
@@djace5191 that's possible, but for the price couldn't risk a replacement, returned it & many others did as well. I've been happy with my S9, glad your 72 sounded good👍
The new Rane mixers and Elite both have better sound cards than the S9 and thats a fact
@@djxsquizit fact, yes. My opinion was based on actual useage and the ones i tried didn't deliver in many occasions.
Sound was only an issue with the Rane mixers, i still haven't tested the Elite, but thanks for the info.
