Visit of the Bay Area International Exchange Service Center

On Thursday 18 July 2024, I met with Mr Frank CHEN, from the Bay Area International Exchange Service Center, thanks to an event organised by La French Tech Hong Kong - Shenzhen.
This center offers nearly 100 services in 3 categories (enterprise services, personal affairs, consulting services) and plans to hold more than 60 events/activities every year.
Enterprise services include useful help for business such as registering companies, finding offices, law and accounting services.
Personal affairs include help for individuals to do their visa applications, registration of their residence, and legal mediation services.
Consulting services include public facility information (parks, gyms…), medical services, and international talents services.
They organise a lot of events to help the international community to feel welcome such as free Chinese learning classes, cultural exchange activities, TEA talks.
On the following day, Friday 19 July 2024, I had the honour to have a more detailed discussion with Mr Chen.
He shared with me his view about business in Shenzhen, China, and how the Bay Area International Exchange Service Center provides very valuable for all expats.
