  • Welcome to Day 28 of "STRENGTH - 30 Days of Tai Chi." Today's session, "Acceptance and Liberation," invites you to explore the themes of accepting what is and finding freedom in that acceptance. In our journey through life, and particularly in our Tai Chi practice, acceptance can be a powerful tool for personal growth and liberation.
This Tai Chi session focuses on movements that encourage a mindset of acceptance. As you flow through each movement, allow yourself to fully accept your body's capabilities and limitations, your thoughts, and your emotions, just as they are. This practice of acceptance is not about resignation but about recognizing and embracing the present moment in its entirety.

Here’s your poem for the day…
    The Open Hand
With open hands, we greet the day,
Acceptance leads us on our way.
In Tai Chi’s grace, we find release,
    Liberation through inner peace.

Wonderful. This one really goes with the title and the poem. Just one question....now that I am understanding the moves by their name and don't have to watch as much, where should my eyes focus? Thank you!

In tai chi, your eyes have a soft gaze and follow the dominant leading hand in the movement. :)
