Pastor Daniel, I love your biblical teachings, and at the same time I disagree with your take on ministries that teach on deliverance. I don’t call them “deliverance ministries” because there is no such thing in the Bible but I believe it’s important to understand the 5 fold ministry includes different offices as scripture indicates “And he gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the shepherds and teachers, to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ,” Pastor, I wanted to say, You are all leaders working together to build the Church. Building a church requires different offices. It’s like building a home, you can’t just have a roofer, you need an engineer, an inspector, a mechanic... e.t.c. Nehemiah didn’t rebuild the Temple of GOD on his own, there were others who helped. Many of the deliverance ministries led by millennials have woken up the “dead” in the church like how Deborah put it “Awake Awake” and have planted churches like Peter and Paul and have brought so many believers together for the work of GOD through their gifts, therefore I believe these ministries move in the office of apostleship and prophecy. The prophets have been kicked to the curb for a long time in most churches in America and that’s not good for the church, the Holy Spirit flows in them through healing, deliverance and revelations from the Bible. These ministries are able to see and discern with their senses what it is in the Spirit in the past, present and future. It’s easy to cast out a devil when your senses are in tune with the HOLY SPIRIT, in other words when you are a spiritual man, Hence I believe this is why they call them “deliverance ministries” because the HOLY SPIRIT uses them to deliver people out years of sickness and pain and torment though one encounter because they have their senses trained up through years of fellowship with the HOLY SPIRIT to discern in an instance what the problem is. And many times it’s casting out a devil but other times it’s through rebuking, correction. There is also a scripture that indicates a church is build on foundation laid by apostles and prophets, Christ being the cornerstone, the whole point being to build a church. “built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus himself being the cornerstone, in whom the whole structure, being joined together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord.” I know this is long but I wanted to express my disagreement in evidence of scriptures. Many believers want encounter with GOD by way of deliverance. I mean how many times did David ask GOD to deliver him from evil , Deliverance is one of the manifestation of the encounters with GOD. “And these signs will accompany those who believe: in my name they will cast out demons; they will speak in new tongues; they will pick up serpents with their hands; and if they drink any deadly poison, it will not hurt them; they will lay their hands on the sick, and they will recover.”” Mark 16:17-18 ESV

Amen to this comment.., I love this q & a with the pastor… I’m glad someone asked about deliverance,, I don’t agree w/ the pastors view on this topic,, however I love how this pastor breaks down the word… And I love this comment how you said some are engineers, whilst others are mechanics etc.. We can’t ignore the gifts of the spirit and we can’t ignore deliverance,,, And when the pastor mentions that deliverance ministries imply that they are casting out demons from possessed believers is wrong No deliverance ministry that I know of has implied that a born again believer can be possessed But however They can be under oppression of the enemy… demonized I still love this ministry And like the pastor I think mentions earlier in the video ,, that there is no perfect church is true Thanks for the q&a pastor 🙌🙏
What is the response for Christians under something not of GOD? Ex. Anger, hate, isolation, negativity, bitterness, etc? Not saying they “have a demon “ but under a spirit or something as in Ephesians 6:12???
I’m not a teacher. I’m a disciple who’s still learning. My understanding is that we find the answer In Ephesians 4:17-32 Also Galatians 5:16-26 speaks on that. But l realized more than once, that l need to remind myself often what the word from Galatians 6:1 says.
Both KJV and NKJV are good as they are less about man's interpretation. But if you want a good study Bybel that a messianic Jew translated it is the new spirit filled life bible. It has scripture cross references and explainsions. It is easy to read and has been a blessing for the past 19 years. It also give a bit of history of each book. Need to buy a new one now as mine has seen better days. Hope this helps and that which ever bible you choose Holy Spirit reveals himself in a profound life changing session ever time you read the father's word. Be blessed and stay grounded in Him.
