The reasons why its price point is higher than a lot of other brands are all the clothes are manufactured locally in Vancouver where labor is 10 times more expensive to produce than in Asia. Also, the materials are of much higher quality and weight as well. You should try the other line that they make called Wings and Horn
I just wanted to clarify that Wings+Horn is not "their" other line but rather another brand that CYC manufactures for.
The price point is okay for me ...... no matter what the good workmanship and high quality fabric, it is still not worth to have a BASIC sweatshirt unless the brand is a designer brand
I'm so glad that I discovered this channel, I too am a 5.6' guy & I am about a 40short when it comes to suits or sports coats. I wear a trouser of 32-33 waist but find the inseam to very between 31 & 32 in length. I was recruited by RALPH Lauren right out of high school. I've found that the cut of their medium really works well for me. As well as Hugo Boss when it comes to my suits or Joseph Aboud.
Yes this brand is expensive but these are LOVELY clothes. Luxurious and durable, above Uniqlo in quality no doubt.
Edit: I do not mean to say that Uniqlo does not make nice clothes, and in my opinion Uniqlo is a tad underpriced while Reigning Champ is a tad overpriced. However there is definitely a distinction.
As you state it is worth extra money for quality items that last. There is a price point though that also makes sense. Liked the sweatshirt and the long sleeve tee. If you think about $115 for five years, that's $23 a year. Quality seems good so makes sense.

They make a 6 inch lightweight Terry short in either navy or grey, just perfect.
I saw your shorts and loved them. I really like the quality of the reigning champ shorts but I like the shorter inseam of the HM. I bought them today and plan on getting the other 2 or 3 colorways.
edit: Do you think you can do american giant? theyre basically like a made in USA reigning champ.

Hey Brock have you ever tried the slim MA1 bomber from Alpha Industries in extra small? I was thinking of getting the slim N3B parka you reviewed but the MA1 is really tight in XS! Was wondering how it fits on you or if I should plan on going with a regular small.

I only buy Reigning Champ clothing used (Grailed/eBay) or when it goes on sale. I would never consider buying anything from the official store.

Umm, that would be what we call a flag on the play Brock. I just can't see myself paying that for a sweatshirt and I LOVE nice quality things, but that's a little silly.

I can understand why you would want to buy these as it is difficult for you to find something that fits your build, but otherwise $115 for a sweatshirt is way too much money.

@Slikz Certi True when you compare to H&M, but a sweatshirt from Spier & Mackay is approx. $50. That I am confident will also last years.

For a cheaper price you can get American made, high quality sweatshirts from American Giant or Buck Mason.
Tbh it just doesn't really look good on you , I'd say just return it and spend it on something else.

Way over priced in my opinion, Uniqlo and J.Crew both have similar pieces for half the price.
I'll have to try Uniqlo again because the last XS sweatshirt I bought from there was too long in the sleeves (even though it was tight through the torso). J. Crew is even worse - slim but too long. But I'll give Uniqlo another shot soon!
