@ojedokunomoboye8423 due to climate change, it is very difficult to give an affirmative answer. The rains have been too epileptic this year. If you must plant it in September without irrigation, please, let it be close to the stream. And first week in September
Well done sir... You're doing great out there. My concern or contribution, though we're all learning; 1. Instead of planting the vines in rings form, why don't you plant it in horizontal or vertical? Reasons for this suggestion is that; (a) You'll have more vines to plant because you'll be planting like 10 - 12 inches in length per heaps. (b) If you have more nodes inside the soil, there'll be competition for essential nutrients among the tubers that will be eventually formed, which could result to very small small tubers from the heaps. However, I may be wrong if you're applying fertilizer to boost the production. Thanks 👍
@sakariyahshakiruariyo9461 thank you for your heartwarming comment, sir A. Concerning horizontal planting, it will lead to crowding, thereby leading to the problem you raised in the latter part of your comment. B. Then overtime, having multiple nodes in the soil has proven to be in the farmer's advantage. Having about 10 nodes in a ridge is ideal. We'll carry you along with the development.
Well done sir, I commend your laudable efforts. God bless you. How can we get potato vines from you. I mean cost and logistics involved. I live in Ibadan.
Please take note there's is a difference between when you say potatoes and sweet potatoes . Any time you put just potatoes on your timeline it means irish potatoes
Like how many sack can gotten from the 7000 heaps all things being equal. I already have 7500 heaps on 1 and half Acre but rain has not come. I need likely yield per acre or per hectares
Nice job. Well done

Glad to hear that you are in Ibadan.
Sir, please which is better, is planting in heaps or planting on ridges
@alamuhezekiaho6419 we prefer heaps and that's what we have been using.

We will be conscious of the differences subsequently.
