Hello sir I want to ask how much you heap 1 acre and how many heaps can I make on 1 acre for a potato farm
Please take note there's is a difference between when you say potatoes and sweet potatoes . Any time you put just potatoes on your timeline it means irish potatoes
@adeyemiaderinola4665 noted We will be conscious of the differences subsequently. Thanks

Weldone my brother . Can I still plant potatoes in month of September without irrigation
@ojedokunomoboye8423 due to climate change, it is very difficult to give an affirmative answer. The rains have been too epileptic this year. If you must plant it in September without irrigation, please, let it be close to the stream. And first week in September
That is definitely not a fungal dominant soil 😂😂 😂😂 stop it . Mulch and get your biology right. Grow rodent fodder as a co crop. Man just read up on JADAM . Lowest cost highest m quality and simple as you want to make it 🤷♂️
Does sweet potato do under shade or a cool atmosphere? Thank you, sir!
@@nathandodoahmadu4089 every plant needs direct access to sunlight to do well
You people don't know that the GMO seeds are dominant seed they will not allow the natural seeds of maize to grow in that area again. Nigeria and Africa as a whole we are playing with fire 🔥. Every one of us will be inside the cage of Bill Gate. From the ancient times it is from the seed you plant that you get the seed that you plant for another season, but this one is not the same you will continue to go back. Our destruction, our downfall, is our grid for more profit. This is a well orchestrated bondage, another slave trade. Imagine one man being the only one selling the seed to plant for the entire Africa every year and if you don't bow to them and do what they want there is no food for you. It is a pity that we are generations of morons, zombies who cannot think for themselves. We have been so brainwashed that whatever the west do we don't check we don't investigate we just swallow hook line and sinker. They only need to give few millions of dollars to our stupid doctors and scientists and those ones will just tell our politicians that nothing is wrong with it that it should be approved.
We sincerely think we can engage in an intellectual discourse without these abusive words coming from you. We would have loved scientific proof to all you have said instead of making assertions based on the bandwagon effect Thank you
@@thefarmingcouple : This is exactly what I'm talking about, and you are saying that I'm abusive. When do science becomes our God, and when do scientists become the priest and the priestesses? Where do our common sense go? Question: Can you replant the seeds of corn 🌽 harvested from GMO plant? No you can't. This is an established fact. There should be limitation with the way we fiddle with creation. th-cam.com/video/GwxOxQ1AOEg/w-d-xo.htmlsi=uf0LfGLXJBiECyZB
@adebobolaadegbuyi9014 I know we can't replant it. I know it might be hard for smallholder farmers to buy the seeds the next farming season. However, it doesn't deny the fact that GMOs ensure increased yields than our traditional seeds. If we must tackle hunger and famine, we need more output for our effort! I know science isn't God. However, as a Christian, I strongly believe science doesn’t oppose or nullify the existence of God. If anything at all, it further solidifies His existence. If we must argue about anything at all, we should be discussing the process of making these GMOs. I mean from an inside perspective. And how we can improve them to ensure they can be replanted. Let African leaders invest heavily in science so we can have our local seeds improved on for higher yields. Our population is growing sporadically and our farm outputs are decreasing. Without a quick fix, we are in for a big trouble! Thank you
@@thefarmingcouple : Please try and do the research on GMO seed, they are nothing but poison. Consuming them does not give the body any nutrients but problem. See profits is not everything in life. If we neglect health and focus on profit we are in trouble I prefer planting two acres instead of planting one acre of GMO that will put me into trouble and health hazard. I have put a lot of video contacts on your platform please try and watch them all thank you and remain blessed.

Why are we so stupid and gullible in Africa. Anything hybrid or GMO is not food but poison. This are seeds that are genetically altered. The genetic chain ⛓️ which The Creator designed to benefit human body has been changed, therefore this type of food cannot be of benefit to human body. It will have a long time destructive effect. God said he has put life in every seed but you cannot replant the seed that this corn produce, you have to go back to the company every year to get the seed before you can plant. So in essence the companies producing GMO seed will become our gods. After all the natural seeds are gone we are finished. I don't know who created we Africans to become so dumb that we cannot see beyond our nose.
Do you have evidence for everything you have said?
Good day sir am really impressed with your explanation of maize farming thank you so much please am about to go for maize farming and I dont know maybe you can put me through and to get that particular hybrid in your hand please help out may Lord bless you bountifully sir thank so much

I think the space between the maize plant is a bit much but perhaps there is a wisdom to why you plant it this way?
@FzedTV we only planted this section to keep the land we want to plant rice on from being overgrown with weeds. Once we begin to bring you updates on the main corn plantation, you'll discover that we drastically reduced the intra-row spacing. Thank you for your observation.

You need to build a small house and bring some men from north
We were considering that option, but many things made us hold back. What they were demanding is more than what they can offer. And we have many northerners here who can easily corrupt them, considering the fact that we don't go to farm daily. A
@@thefarmingcouple You need to be living closer to your farm. The workers don’t take your farm seriously when it’s not their farm or money, they 98% of the time don’t care. I learned that the hard way and had to fix things sharply on my farm. I suggest living on your farm
We know it will get to a point where we will live on the farm. We still need to put a lot of things in place, especially for our safety. But as things are, we are putting things in place to be there daily.
I don't mind the boys from the north for now.

What kind of potatoes is this and why do you make the beds like yam?
This is sweet potatoes. We made these heaps because we want them to really grow big. Our yam heaps are bigger than this
