Acoustic guitar tutorial for 'Living Hope' by Phil Wickham and Brian Johnson (Bethel Music). I did this one in the key of D. The Phil Wickham version is in the key of Eb, so to play along to that version, use a capo on the 1st fret.

I heard this song in a service this past weekend and fell in love. Then I was asked to lead worship this coming weekend at my church. Your video was sent by God to me in an answer to prayer. Thank you for your help!!!

Sorry but im a newbie, i have a question, everytime you change chord, does the strumming pattern is also reset ?
Its D UDUD UDUD DU, when we change chord, does it always start with D again ?

Really would be great if you could put the progression on the screen somewhere so that I don't have to guess if a Bm or a D is coming up lol

A little confused on the strumming on the first verse... When you go from G to Bm to A... Quite fuzzy there...

In this tutorial your fingers are not placed the same as on the chart for D and G. I also can’t make my guitar sound like yours

BBC, It is amazing how two "similar" guitars can sound so different. Part of it will be the manufacturing (i.e. Martin vs. Taylor vs. whomever - the way that they tie their necks into the body makes a difference), part of it is the wood, part of it may even be the style of guitar you have (Jumbo, Dreadnaught, Grand Auditorium, etc.), and part of it will be electronics (how is it mic'ed).
In regard to his fingering, he displays how it "can be" or "should be" fingered while playing in a more "relaxed" fashion. I'm not sure how long that you've been playing, but feel free to "play with" each chord you learn and remove individual fingers to gain additional sounds. I, personally, will be checking out his Bm.
      Take care, Rich

You'd be surprised. I went from playing a $200 to playing a $1800 guitar and the difference is night and day. Your guitar may not sound the same depending on the quality

we came here to practice strumming not voice singing..your voice is much louder then d strumming,we can't even hear d strumming properly...pliz lower yor voice while singing so we can properly hear d strumming pattern...n bdw diz whole people r lying by saying dat your voice is nice,to b honest your voice is too hard to hear too noisy n rough it really sucks😢
