Fantastic video :) The official tutorials are very lacking, this is much more detailed. Got my setup working on Unreal 5.2 thanks to this, many thanks :)
"Hi Josh! I know it’s been a year, but I’m finally setting up my virtual production and I’ve decided to go ahead with purchasing Antilatency. My question is: once Antilatency is connected with Unreal Engine, how can I use its tracking with a camera? Specifically, how can I connect what Antilatency tracks to my camera in order to use the lenses of my Sony camera and play with its aperture settings?"
Hey, Josh! Thanks for making this video, I hadn't heard of the Anti-latency trackers before. I wanted to ask- have you used them for calibrating the lens profile in Unreal Engine? This is the main reason I'm interested in a tracker at all, since I want to be able to set the position of the Unreal camera using the live feed of an Aruco marker, but it seems I still need to have the camera tracked in order to calibrate it before I can do that.
Antilatency should pay you to do full tutorials on the set ups, there content is two years old & not in depth enough. I just got 30m2 & all the Antilatency trackers, so I know I'll be watching your videos over & over. Do you freelance? As I might need help as I know I'm going to run into some bugs, happy to pay for your time? Cheers Adam
awesome mate now i have a video which i will follow step by step on my new ultimate Workstation heheh completly EKWB watercooled 13900k and 4090 with back and front plate yay :D
Look into Mean Cat - the best camera motion tracker for unreal engine I am aware of. A lot less complicated than the system in this video, and if calibrated correctly, works flawlessly.
@@creativetelesis6704 That doesn’t match what I’ve seen in test footage. If I’m correct it uses the Intel RealSense T265 for tracking, which drifts a lot and is much less accurate than the Bliss hardware. It’s also quite expensive, right?

Awesome to hear. Glad this helped.

Antilatency doesn't do lens calibration or encoding. Its just positional tracking
Very cool. What do people use these devices for?
These are used for tracking the position of physical objects in virtual space. So most widely used in camera tracking for virtual production.
Nice get with the voiceover, always knew it was only a matter of time before you got famous :-D
He came recommended but I don't think it worked out. Such a lack of respect.

I haven't tried just yet but can certainly give it a go

Yeah I do freelance. Drop me a message through my site. it's joshuamkerr.com
finally someone demystifying the antilatency ecosystem. thanks (✩ ์ ᴗ ์✩)
Hey no worries. Thought it was about time to do this
Hi , did u manage to connect it with a camera that has lens calibration ???
I haven't tried any lens calibration yet.

I figured we were missing a full step by step on this setup.
Love it
Cheers Peter
I tried this on UE 5.3 and it didnt work. Looks like one needs to do some debugging on Visual Studio to make it work
I've heard from lots of people that this solution isn't working anymore. I need to check it out.
Antilatency or Vive mars?
which to invest?
I've never used vive mars. But I do like Antilatency for it's accuracy and price.
Probably none of them, if you don’t need to track objects as well as the camera. ReTracker Bliss has fantastic tracking quality and superior support.

I'm facing "MSB3073" error problem, how can I fix this?? Please Let Me know...
Im not familiar with that error. Maybe join the antilatency discord erver and post it there. They're quick to respond in my experience
no jittering ?
As long as the tracker is mounted correctly and has a good line of sight to the sensors I don't get much jitter
the first commet you are doing well ...
That would make this my first reply! Thank you.
