    Now that's Justice ... Good luck to her unraveling the damage she has done to her kids and the no-longer relationship with their own father.
    The kids are not exactly innocent either and deserve the life they chose.

      I would also like to see what happens when Miranda confronts Dan, and how she explains to the kids how the whole mess, including their induced resentment towards their father was manufactured by their mother. Alan needs to block them all, and prepare restraining orders that could be filed if any of them try to show up.

    The fact that the children were involved in this for years and she justified it all

    2nd time listening to this one. One of the better stories, really like how the plot starts with the divorce, and then flashes back to provide the story details. Really need a follow up to explore Miranda confronting Dan, how she explains to the kids she got it all wrong and sabotaged all their lives, how the kids struggle with understanding their own guilt in Alan's betrayal, and how Miranda comes clean to her parents, her colleagues and especially how she apologizes to Sandy for her misplaced anger and thanking her for helping her dodge the bullet of marrying a serial cheater. Also would like to explore Alan putting his life back together, and caring for his mom, pushing all he has into her final days, and her finally losing all connection to him and being placed in a home searing the last of his emotions out of him, setting the stage for him to be reborn and move into a better life.

    Whether this is a true story or not, Miranda's demeanour for fifteen years to justify her facade father-in law passing in brokenness, messing with their kids head, and until Sandy Thompson revealed the truth about what didn't happen and the impending marriage of two adulterers selfish doesn't come close.i would have tried to find out why the kids were indifferent.

      Society forces many. It’s so backward. I love my wife like crazy. We’ve been married twenty years. Like all couples we have occasional disagreements or do things that might irritate the other. However I don’t allow her to disrespect me or tell me the way it is. That’s my job. I call her on it firmly but lovingly. She snaps right back into line. Her dad didn’t put up with crap from the women in his life that he loves. So she’s used to it. My ex wife not so much. My new wife is much younger get this he by 15 years. My ex was a big older. This story needs a part 2 what happens after he leaves to take care of his mom, what happens between him and his ex wife, what happens between his ex wife and her fiancé and what happens between him and his kids and if his ex tells the kids what actually happened and she was the one that cheated and turned their kids against him over her not being willing to here the truth about what happened that night and her fiancé is cheating. I would really like a part 2 just to know how much his ex wife's life falls apart and what his kids do about there new dad cheating and their biological father never cheating. She was the one that actually created and if she was woman enough to tell their kids the truth about everything and what if anything the kids did to try and reconnect with their father and if their father was smart not letting them back into her life after the abandoned him over his ex-wife assumptions.

  • @stevetallent4637

    I know it’s just a story but it’s hard to believe a man could be oblivious to his wife’s alienation of affection over the years and even more unbelievable that he wouldn’t sense that his kids had no love for him. There is no way that mom could do a big reveal that she cheated on dad for 13 years but he cheated first and they suddenly cut him off. That’s the work of years or a moral shock.

    • @TwilightMysts
      @TwilightMysts 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Pretty sure this was fiction, but in a similar real life situation the kids probably wouldn't know until after the father did. At which point the mom would drop the bomb shell on them that dad had cheated, probably lying and saying it was an on-going thing.
      If the kids didn't reach out to the father and ask for his side, they would only hear the side of their mom, and after 6 months or so would start to really hate the dad, never knowing it was a lie and never giving him a chance to correct the story.
      That is one of the ways parental alienation works.

      That last phone conversation busted everything open. Alan moves on. But everyone else has their lives about to be shattered, but how? Will Miri get married to her cheating fiancee? Will the kids learn the truth? Will Sandy learn what that last phone call did? Too many unanswered questions, making it feel incomplete. But that's where the story ended.

      @CheatingStoriesUnveiled 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I was looking for this

    • @TwilightMysts
      @TwilightMysts 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes. It definitely feels incomplete to me. But I don't like hard endings that leave questions. I like to get the follow-up in the months or years after the official ending...
      The 2002 film "A Walk to Remember" ended much this way. Not a bad film, but not my style (I think the genre would be "christian teen romance"). I mostly watched it because I had a celebrity crush on Mandy Moore at the time. Anyway, the film itself has the usual rather abrupt ending. There was a final scene tagged on at the end that provided a little bit of closure, but not much. It was really just like any other movie. What I really liked was Mandy Moore (she was also a singer) came out with the music video "Cry" that was tied directly into the movie. I won't give spoilers, but the music video was probably several years (in story years) after the movie ends, but it provides an over-view of life after the film ended. So even though I am "meh" about the actual film, the film/music video tie-in will probably always be my epitome of the perfect way to end a story.
      I think Hunger Games did this (though not as well) with the ending scene where Katniss was at a little picnic talking to her baby daughter. It isn't perfect because it doesn't really give you the over-view of life after the story, but it does give you a snap-shot of one moment several years later. You don't really get to see HOW life goes on, but you do get to see that it did, and you get a little window into her life after the story ended. The series "Being Human" did pretty much the same thing. After the core story ended, you get a very similar scene: several years later, where two of the main characters wake up from a nap while they were out for a picnic, with their two children playing in the grass and flowers near-by.
      Anyway. In the case of this story, it implies Miranda got her karma, but we don't actually get to SEE it. EchoWhiskeyOne nailed it pretty well I think. We don't know if Miranda and scum bag get married, we don't know if the kids learn the truth. We don't know what happens to Miranda's reputation, if the whole scandal gets out to the community. We don't know what kind of life OP has after he moves... This ending DOES show Miranda realizing how badly she screwed up, but we don't get the satisfaction of actually seeing her face the consequences, only the implication that they are coming.

      You should know that women will tell that he slept with him even if he didn't women have lied just to get with a man they want. They will lie to get them separated so she will have a chance. This is how some women are. If they want a man they are willing to break a marriage. Some are willing to share that man.
