I think the name is ironic. Shouldn't they have called it "Lowboy"? 😂 Just kidding, I know Hiboy brand also makes some larger eBikes. Cool video! Thanks!
Well, I am used to 16" tires from a traditional Brompton...and this is a ton cheaper. But 50 lbs and a lack of cargo options make it tricky. Definitely like the idea that it's basically a scooter with a seat tho!
Yeah... At least give a bar for the pannier. It's hard to go for groceries with this bike. 50lbs is also significant heavier than its competitors, e-scooters.
I think this bike would make a whole lot more sense if they offered some way to have "storage". being able to attach a bike rack and som panniers goes a long way. This would increase the use case for the bike quite a bit.. Now I honestly feel like you really need to space saving measures to justify it. Otherwise having a proper bike with standard wheel sizes etc. just makes life a bit easier (for parts etc). I'd rather have this than a scooter though, definitely. Personally I use a normal light weight bike (without electricity) and an electric skateboard to fit my needs. The skateboard is great when commuting, carrying it on the train/bus or something like that.
Hello, thanks for the review (it was fun to watch). Should someone consider a different (longer) seatpost for the C1, would you know the diameter of the tube, e.g., 27.2mm, 28.6mm, etc.? Thanks.
@@toronado455 small wheel and very short travel suspension with coil springs, wouldn't be surprised. A rigid cromo steel fork or carbon fork would have helped.
I like your wife's jacket/hoodie. The same sanctuary that you had their T-shirts on last year or so? Nice goofy e-bike. I think it's practical for college kids or in a very urban area
What do you think of this miniscule e-bike?

Might not be the the most practical e bike, but it is definitely the goofiest
I’m 180 and it still does 25mph it’s a very nicely build lil bike

thanks for your really informative and fun reviews . I doubt you can retire/quit. Your enthusiasm is contagious.
Reminds me of my Jetson bike. Which I love. And is a bit cheaper. Especially refurbished.

It's insane how it even has a suspension fork lol.
I know, and yet it didn't seem to help much will all the vibrations!

Yes. It's a Farm Sanctuary hoodie. :) farmsanctuary.org
Thanks
Do you want to sell it the Hiboy c1 white one
The folding handlebars seem kinda pointless lol
Yeah it only really saves space if you also remove the seat
