You’re lucky to find things so early! I was in my mid thirties before I even heard of the asexual spectrum! I know I’m a romantic but that’s as far as I’ve figured things out. When I finally told my sisters they were all “oh ya we figured that out long time ago”........ thx for telling me? Lol anyways, thx for posting, it was helpful 🥰

I recently read a lot about different sexualities and figured out that I am biromantic asexual myself. I still find it hard to accept differences between me and others as I am always struggling if I really "fit in", but I am pretty sure that its the most fitting description for me.

3:25 - this is so true. I also feel like an outcast in this world which is so oversexualized. Even among my friends because I can't relate to them so much. I realized I might be greysexual a few months ago and I go from wanting to have sex with someone I love, to being sexually indifferent, to being sex repulsed. My sexuality really confuses me to the point that I don't really wanna think about it too much. I'm biromantic as well
Hi Martyna. Nice to meet you. Even if you want to have sex, are not sex repulsed, have a high libido, or even have sex regularly… this still doesn’t say anything about whether you experience sexual attraction.
This is what was so tough for me to finally realize. First, I didn’t know what others were experiencing to know that I was definitely Not experiencing sexual attraction. And second, I didn’t realize that a lack of this sexual attraction was actually the definition of asexual. I thought it meant a person doesn’t like sex, which is not part of the definition.
Understanding that has really helped me to relate to other asexual people, and to be able to explain all of the above to friends and people I might date (I am romantically attracted to others).
@@alinap.7298Hi Alina! If I understand correctly experiencing sexual attraction means wanting to have sex with a specific person. I think I experienced that ones or twice in my life. Sex has just never been an important part of my life and I never understood what's the big deal about
@@KangTaemi It’s hard for me to explain something I don’t experience. But it sounds like others (allosexuals) are experiencing seeing someone and wanting to have sex with them. Maybe another way of saying it is that they find someone attractive for the purposes of having sex?
A better person to ask is probably an allosexual, but I hope that helps a little bit.
I find someone romantically attractive or have a crush on them and then I want to hug them, cuddle them for hours at the movie theater, hold hands with them while walking down the street, be around them almost all the time and get to know them, etc.

Omg the part with someone asking you about your sexuality is exactly what happened to me and i also couldn't answer and i am still thankful to my friend who intervened and said something like "why do you need to know people's sexuality? "
What a strange feeling I just felt... I've known I was Asexual for 3 years now, but since last year I started wondering my romantic atracttion using the Bi-curious label, and today I watched like 5 videos about Bisexuality because putting "Biromantic" alone didn't show me anything, and I didn't felt anything watching those videos, but now I searched specificlly "Biromantic Asexual" click your video and I actully felt something with you saying the words! I do vibe with "Biromatic Asexual" together... The power of words is really fascinating :0

Thank God this sexual orientation exists. Sometimes I seek out people who I just want to be very close with like a brother or a sister. Who I can confide to and hug with at night. And I'd be more than willing to give them the freedom to have their sexual needs fulfilled elsewhere as long as with other quality people and that I am informed with. But I do get my urges as well. That's just not a priority as you've mentioned.
Thank you for your openness and honesty. I myself feel nearly 100% the way that you have been describing things. I am still a little overwhelmed by all of it because coming out as asexual was easier for me than realising that I am biromantic. But watching your video and listening to what you and other people were saying really assured me that I finally feel like I found my place in a big room of numerous romantic and sexual orientations!
