I love chicken in chile rojo. A Mexican plate but I am not sure if other countries also have it. Also chicken in chile guajillo. It's so good.
Korea's traditional chicken dishes are samgyetang and boiled chicken, which do not use any seasonings such as chili. The sauce for seasoned fired chicken includes red pepper paste, but most of the sauces are ketchup and syrup, making it a Western sauce.
So that is not Korean food. And traditional Korean food does not contain chili at all.

I'm surprised that they didn't pick American chicken...they went for 3rds lol
I love tandoori chicken but it’s not as consistent, it can be dry at times depending on who’s making it but the flavour profile is complex and delicious. Korean chicken is very consistent, I’ve never had a bad experience, as it’s wet so I never experience the occasional dry tandoori I get, and it’s got flavourful sauce. I love American fried chicken too but I always feel greasy and a little sick after eating it so I can only eat it very occasionally
Any chicken thats dry is overcooked.
You gotta try all food i like em all. Different tastes

And ofc the taste..
One is salty, other is sweet and tandoori one is spicy 😊
And spicy here doesn't mean Chillis.
spicy doesn't mean chili anywhere..? it's just a feeling
@@satanlovesu For Indian food, many feel like this way. I.e., if this tandoori chicken is of red colour...it must be spices= red chillies 😅
I have heard many saying so...
@@tulika_9519 i understand, the idea of spice differs since there are places where people know tos of spices, and some places only few
It's barbequed. My family always made tandoori chicken in barbeques and it's pretty much the same taste
I still dont understand how english people use the taste they get after eating chilli ? Sometimes they say hot and sometimes spicy. For me when I say hot it means temperature is high. When i say spicy it means the food has lot of different spices or lot of quantity of spicies has been put. I use masala as synonym to spicies.

As a Korean-American, Korean fried chicken is yet another thing that Koreans learned from Americans and made their own. American military cooks during the Korean War showed South Koreans how to make Southern-American style fried chicken and the Koreans started tinkering with the recipe to create what we know and love today. Now I still love Popeye's but I can only eat like 1 or 2 pieces of it before feeling gross but I can crush an entire bucket of Korean fried chicken and feel fine.
I’m American (Afro-Latina), but once I tried Korean fried chicken I never went back. I learned how to make it myself and it’s the only fried chicken I make 95% of the time. I make it with pickled radish and salad-so delicious!

koren 🍗🥩🥓🍔🍟🍗🥢🥧🍫🍭🥛🎂🫖🧋🥤🦀🦞🦐🥡🍚🍙🍘🍳🥚🥚🥙
Fun fact. Koreans learnt the art of frying chicken from the black soldiers during the korean war.
@@simon824 I’m aware! While fried chicken existed in SK for centuries prior to that, the dish evolved thanks to the influence of black GIs during the Korean War. And it’s evolved even further now thanks to the competitive nature of Korean fried chicken franchises, so while similar, Korean fried chicken and African-American fried chicken are now quite different. Both very good, ofc, but imo, nothing beats soy garlic fried chicken, which requires a different cooking technique and vastly different ingredients. But yes, you can definitely see (and taste!) the root of the inspiration for modern day Korean fried chicken!

Okay so here's the thing, Korea owns fried chicken, hands down. America has some crazy good southern fried chicken in some of the established top tier chains like Gus's but if you've ever had Bonchon Chicken or some of the other twice fried chicken places out there you'd understand that it's crunchier and more flavorful than anything you've ever imagined eating.
That said, Tandoori chicken most accurately compares to American BBQ grilled chicken and I think it has to be my favorite Indian food hands down. Good Tandoori chicken is probably the best non-battered chicken you can get aside from some really well crispy fried naked wings perhaps.
Trust me, I'm a fat guy who reviews food.
i used to work in french Italian mexican peruvian , restaurants, british pubs as a cook. etc.. i have tried many foods, but the indian food is really different. so delicious. 💯

I have a preference for American fried chicken over Korean fried chicken because of the seasonings in the breading. Additionally, I typically prefer dipping sauces over having sauce directly on the chicken, except when it comes to wings.
