I was born and stayed in Mysore for 32 years..it is not actually very safe as these police officers claim. I lost my Micromax phone in 2012 and went to Vivekanandanagar police station to give complaint they didn't even take my complaint saying they cannot find lost mobile. In 2016 we lost 3 lakhs worth of gold in home theft and complained to Kuvempunagar police station. After 3 months, got call from police station to visit Kuvempunagar police station. When we visited there they said thief is dead and they are closing the case. Police department in Mysore is highly corrupted

@@dtech2518 No brother I am not generalizing based on one incident or one police station. We escalated the home theft complaint to then Mysore Police Commissioner after around 1 month of escalation only we got a call from Kuvempunagar police station saying that thief is dead but even fool could have said that kind of theft was done by more than one thief and if they know one thief who is dead they can easily trace others involved but they didn't want to. They didn't even come home to do verification for a simple passport verification. We only visited them when they didn't turn up. My dad had an accident right next street of Kuvempunagar police station and was lying on street for 2 hours nobody informed about him unless we went searching for him and found that he is in a coma (thankfully he recovered). All these incidents have broken our hearts into pieces and we have lost all faith on police department. If hebbal police are doing job I appreciate them
