Our Prophet Muhammad said:
“Without a doubt, everything shows at least a bit of kindness, and the core of the Quran is Yaseen Surah. I might want that it be in the core of each adherent of my ummah.”
This hadith shows the importance of reading surah Yaseen, some of which is the heart of the Quran. And our prophet urges us to read it. Surah Yaseen gives relief and peace of mind to anyone who reads it. You will gain many rewards from reading surah Yaseen. So, from this hadith we get the significance of this surah and that it is the core of the Quran that brings many rewards to us by just reading it.
2- Reading surah Yaseen erases our sins.
Another thing that our prophet taught us about reading surah Yaseen we see in the following hadith:
“Whoever discussed Surah Yaseen in the late evening looking for Allah’s endorsement, Allah would excuse him.”
Reading surah Yaseen in the middle of the night and asking for the help of Allah and wishing for forgiveness and mercy, Allah will reward us by answering our calls. What’s more important is to read surah Yaseen with faith that Allah will help us.
Reading the Quran generally eases the mind and gives us peace. Imagine if you read surah Yaseen with complete confidence that God will forgive us, how will you feel afterward? You will be fully relieved.
So, whatever you do and the mistakes or sins you commit, just be sure to ask God for forgiveness and try your best to stay away from repeating the same mistake again. Allah will forgive, be confident of that.
3- Carries many rewards to us.
There is another hadith telling us about the rewards that reading surah Yaseen brings us, here it is:
“Whoever pursues Surah Yaseen, Allah rewards him that is equivalent to that of perusing the entire Quran.”
The hadith doesn’t require any explanation, reading surah Yaseen is equivalent to reading the entire Quran. This reward gives you more than you can ever imagine. So, make sure to read surah Yaseen daily, and you shall be rewarded.
