I'm also very very happy the group doing this is all adult. Having adult idols exploring sexual themes is so refreshing. Although gen 2 kpop was great for the fans, I'm really happy we are getting better in our treatment of idols (in all ways) and have stopped sexualising kids as much (it's still a slight issue, but it's better).

Holy shit, I was NOT expecting a track so aesthetically atonal and completely unlike what else is going on in kpop right now. But even though it’s a shame he’s gone, if it was in his own best interest and decision then I support him.

I said "besides the title" as response to this specific piece of their comment, what I meant is there are songs with such vibe, structure, use of symph, etc, if you listen to said discographies you can see that those "big groups" do produce music like this. I suggest checking out their previous comeback libidO if you like the visuals and concept! libidO follows the same visual concept but the music will still experimental isn't as experimental as this! Also, if you check out their pervious stuff just know this is their first CB with only 6 members. Unfortunately, one member left do to personal reasons in August.

Like everyone else has been saying, I really like how every single they’ve released so far are very different musically, but if you actually take the time to explore every mini album or single, have all been connected since their debut, and I love when groups get deeper like that, I just wish, especially as a Jisung and Junji bias, I wish they could have continued their journey together as they began, but still supporting all the members, of course

Ok i discovered onlyoneof like a week ago, probably even less, and I gotta say that I'm incredibly thankful. I started to listen to kpop when I was around 13, then stopped when I turned 17, and now came back to it two weeks ago. And onlyoneof literally brought back my love for music. I would be lying if I said I didn't listen to great music in those 2 years, the last 2 years were a great time for music in general. Yet after discovering these boys I think that I've missed out, kinda. I can't recall the last time I literally couldn't stop listening to an artist, literally waking up listening to them and going to bed listening to them. I'm not gonna say this will last forever, my interest for onlyoneof will fade one day I think, but to just have that group that I can listen to on repeat feels so euphoric. They make me feel good about myself, and my creativity came back after a looooong break. Cause these boys are inspiring. Also I gotta say something kinda controversial: onlyoneof is the only group that I've discovered so far that can compete with 2nd and 3rd gen groups for me. Those boys literally define 4th gen K-pop. Their music is incredibly innovative even outside kpop, and they deserve a lot more recognition. They are incredibly bold and brave, and even though I've literally known them for 3 seconds, I'm already Hella Hella proud of them. This is art.

Do stan this group, they are quite underrated. Their sound is always as unique as this, it's their identity. And through "Produced by [myself]" it's much more prominent how their love for this genre is pure. You can start wherever you can, but I would recommend "line sun goodness."

Holy shit, I was NOT expecting a track so aesthetically atonal and completely unlike what else is going on in kpop right now. It has the barest elements of noise (what Stray Kids are doing) but in a really clean way, and again.. atonal! What even! It's amazing. I already know this won't do well because it's not radio/public-friendly in sound alone, but god damn does it deserve to go viral for how good it is. Wow. I haven't thought that of any song I've heard in a good long time. It's only missing one thing, and we know his name. Wishing he was here too.

OnlyOneOf of used to be a seven member group but he left ‘due to personal reasons’ and that’s all they’ve said about him leaving. So now they’re a six member group. I don’t think they’ve addressed it about a new leader or anything? Also Love was the main vocal of the group.
But even though it’s a shame he’s gone, if it was in his own best interest and decision then I support him.

See, OP is implying that other groups don't do "different" and that there are no songs in this style being produced, specially for the big groups. I, on the other hand, am saying this is untrue, a simple example is SM Entertainment idols, who are very well-known for going more experimental than the norm and setting or consolidating what will become the next trend in kpop. I said "besides the title" as response to this specific piece of their comment, what I meant is there are songs with such vibe, structure, use of symph, etc, if you listen to said discographies you can see that those "big groups" do produce music like this.
Also, it is not a matter of interest or disinterest - that's your personal taste, I don't mind -, but to claim other groups could not pull it off, you must do so with the knowledge of other group's works. Obviously, some elements would be different to fit a group's image, concept and best suit the members, as I said, I mean no disrespect to OnlyOneOf (specially since I liked this comeback), but still, "pulling it off", when used in reference to it being "different", is a bit hasty.
If we were merely talking about a diverse sonority, I would not need to point out the b-sides, specially not for the groups I mentioned, since they use some of the most variated and unique content in kpop, both sound and visual, but again, talking about this one specific song and how there are others who've done this kind of work.

@@LovinneLily you do realize the groups you mentioned are Seniors they were there first before the ones now who are just a direct copy of either EXO, SVT, or BTS; OOO has their own music that no one in among 4th gen groups has done yet, amongs everyone that debuted from 2016 to now no one has been this experimental as OOO

this is my first time listening to OnlyOneOf and i have to say, they shocked me in the best way possible. this certain song isn’t completely my taste but they brought talent, visuals, complexity, and good flow all in one video and i have to applaud that! this is such a unique group
I suggest checking out their previous comeback libidO if you like the visuals and concept! libidO follows the same visual concept but the music will still experimental isn't as experimental as this! Also, if you check out their pervious stuff just know this is their first CB with only 6 members. Unfortunately, one member left do to personal reasons in August.

Something that I love in Onlyoneof is that they always trying new styles and not being afraid to show every side of them, they need more recognition for their hard work!
Is it only me or doesn't it look like many scenes here are from Love's pov? Like the scene where Nine offers us something to eat, isn't it possible that we are in Love's place and he's offering it to Love? And again the scene where they all grab the cameraman's hand to urge him to play with them by the ocean. And in the end when the same person clicks a pic of the members. I feel like they secretly conveyed that they still miss Love and his presence made them happy

Like everyone else has been saying, I really like how every single they’ve released so far are very different musically, but if you actually take the time to explore every mini album or single, have all been connected since their debut, and I love when groups get deeper like that, I just wish, especially as a Jisung and Junji bias, I wish they could have continued their journey together as they began, but still supporting all the members, of course

Ok i discovered onlyoneof like a week ago, probably even less, and I gotta say that I'm incredibly thankful. I started to listen to kpop when I was around 13, then stopped when I turned 17, and now came back to it two weeks ago. And onlyoneof literally brought back my love for music. I would be lying if I said I didn't listen to great music in those 2 years, the last 2 years were a great time for music in general. Yet after discovering these boys I think that I've missed out, kinda. I can't recall the last time I literally couldn't stop listening to an artist, literally waking up listening to them and going to bed listening to them. I'm not gonna say this will last forever, my interest for onlyoneof will fade one day I think, but to just have that group that I can listen to on repeat feels so euphoric. They make me feel good about myself, and my creativity came back after a looooong break. Cause these boys are inspiring.
Also I gotta say something kinda controversial: onlyoneof is the only group that I've discovered so far that can compete with 2nd and 3rd gen groups for me. Those boys literally define 4th gen K-pop. Their music is incredibly innovative even outside kpop, and they deserve a lot more recognition. They are incredibly bold and brave, and even though I've literally known them for 3 seconds, I'm already Hella Hella proud of them. This is art.

Do stan this group, they are quite underrated. Their sound is always as unique as this, it's their identity. And through "Produced by [myself]" it's much more prominent how their love for this genre is pure.
