id *personally* say DOTX+DOTE is slightly better due to the extremely early game pressure when using force 2, stacking crits forcing opp to guard cuz theyll take 3-4 dmg, high power with calamity tower, and guard restrict with dekat its all around just pure offense all the way but still a great list

Maelstrom is checking during Wave 3 and 4 to see if a hit occurred. Because of the hit confirm units, hit or not, a hit is registered. Therefore, discard 2 and Damp Overlord restands. - Sam (Hamster)

She's good, and God knows I tried to fit her in for the additional on hit abilities... but she's sadly too inconsistent. There are better units with Wave 4+ attack power-ups. The on hit abilities, while good, don't fully mesh with the attack order you want to go in to fully utilize Maelstrom on your first grade three turn and by the second grade three turn, you should be pushing for game with Glory or building your hand up with another "Soggy Overlord ™️" turn. It really sucks because she isn't a bad unit... it's just that V Maelstrom is so unbelievably tightly packed that it doesn't offer much in the way of adding spicy tech.
