How to Replace Radius Arm Bushings

  • Today I replaced the radius arm bushings on my '95 Ford Ranger. The spacer on my truck was broken and it knocked when making turns. There's a few ways to replace the bushings depending on whether the brackets are riveted on or bolted. I explain how to do it both ways.

    I did mine very similar to how you did this, but i had rivets. All i did was take a grinder with a cut off wheel on it and cut them off and hit them out the back wit the hammer and then went out and got bolts to reattach it to the frame.
