I'd like to do the opposite - I've got a mechanical keyboard with 3 knobs, and I'd like to use those knobs to control VST parameters and the mixing console in my DAW (Cubase). Is there a script or program out there that would make this possible?
Yup, I was hoping for that as well :) Knob encoders need special support if you want to use them as endless rotary (think scrubbing through timeline in video editor). Electrically they support, but AFAIK these MIDI keyboards still have min/max values for the encoders and once you've turned it to max, it won't send new MIDI signals even if you keep twisting right. The trick for infinite scroll is that you need bidirectional support in the keyboard (not all do) to always send that "you're in the middle value" signal so the keyboard will keep sending updates on continued scroll.
