Hi! Who did the drums on The Halls of Waiting (Oblivion)? They have such finesse, the attenuation is really good. The acoustic guitar intro has Dream Theater scale vibes and has simliarities to Endless Sacrifice. The guitar has such good compositions throughout. The baroque parts are so well contrasted with the fast paced death metal parts, even though it is REALLY baroque. The hall feeling of the vocals is really tastefully made. Feels like you're there, in the Halls of Waiting. The song is bursting with melody. It almost sounds like an albums worth of melody in one song, ha ha, but everything is well crafted. I will be going to Parkenfestivalen this weekend, but will do a thorough listen the rest of Glory and Ruin after the weekend, if bandcamp releases on schedule.

For this album my budget was limited so the drums I programmed myself using EZ Drummer which has great kits and realistic dynamic variation in each hit. On that classical section, I tried to emulate something Bach would compose since he is my favorite! 😍
Guys, my son just introduced me to a Band I had not heard of yet, and they take me back to my days of 80's anthem rock, with a mix of synth. Beast in Black. Songs I really liked - Heart of Steel, No Surrender, Sweet True Lies. I looked if you reacted to them, but did not see them here. I highly suggest for your channel. Great stuff! Alter Bridge just gets heavier and heavier. Amazing. Props to the rhythm section, Scott and Brian kill it on drums and bass.
