It reminds of the last four years of the precious music teaching period (Era) of my illustrious father USTAD AZMAT HUSSAIN KHAN DILRANG. This Raga was learnt by Abhishekhi ji during his Taalim from my father at Lonavala during 1971 to 1974 The main innovation done by my father in this composition was the use of Rupak Taal instead of original Vilambit Ektaal.. As per my knowledge this Daguri Raga (Named on Daguri Bani of Gubarhaar) was learnt by my father from his Patternal Uncle n Guru S. S. Ustad Allahdiya Khansaheb. As much as I have heard, Allhadiya Khansahb taught two parallel Ragas to my father during his stay at Gowalia Tank Residence in Mumbai. They were RAGA DAGURI and RAGA MANJARI BIHAG. Raga Manjari Bihag is widely sung and recorded by USTAD ASLAM KHANSAHB, who was one of the senior most disciples of my father Ustad Azmat Hussain Khan Dilrang.
We don't find much information about this Raga online, and if we happen to find some, there is no way to check if it is authentic enough. Gulubhai Jasdanwala never use to sing this raag. Because he was not taught this raag by Alladiya Khansaheb. He used to say "Bade Miyan ne hame ye raag nahi sikhaya". Abhishekiji must have got this bandish from Ajijuddin (Baba ) Khansaheb. Because After Gulubhaiji's death in 1980. Abhishekiji got many raagas from Baba Khansaheb. Abhishekiji had tied 'Ganda' of Baba Khansaheb in 1978 at Geeta Mandir hall in Mumbai.

khansaheb hasnt named it as Dagori.. it was unnamed for long time... it was basically challenge given to him by his one contemporary to compose new raaga.. same is mentioned in tembe's biography on khansaheb..he has called it as Anamika.. due to influence of patdeep..many ( mainly from ratnakar pai stream) used to call it as deepaki... the dagori name is given by his grandson baba Azizuddin khan.. u can hear it in his interview taken by shruti..

Waah!! What a precious find! IIRC, Abhishekibua did learn from Pt. Gullubhai Jasdanwala from whom he must have received this rare Jaipur gem.
