If I may recommend a game (well a pair of games) that being Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth and Digimon Story: Hackers Memory (you can get both at once with the complete edition) their stories while a tad predictable and dialogue box heavy is geared towards more mature audiences and a unique system that causes you to think about what members you may need in a certain limit that gets bigger through certain parts of the stories and exploration to find items that makes the limit cap larger

I didn't expect to be sold on a mobile game but you did a great job of doing just that. Though I'll probably get the Steam version instead.

Looks like Ocean Keeper was HEAVILY inspired by Dome Keeper. Gameplay loop is the same. In Dome Keeper, you mine resources to improve your dome defenses. You discover relics in Dome Keeper that give your dome different abilities that you can also upgrade, this was also copied by Ocean Keeper. The only big difference is the combat phase, Dome Keeper has you in a stationary turret fighting off enemies whereas Ocean Keeper has you in a mech roving around instead. Honestly not sure how I feel about all the core gameplay similarities between the two in addition to Ocean Keeper copying part of the name. Hopefully throughout early access they do more to differentiate the game from Dome Keeper. More games like Dome Keeper is awesome, but Ocean Keeper is too similar to Dome Keeper right now.

Totally reasonable take. They do mention on their site that they are huge fans of Dome Keeper and took heavy influence from that and Vampire survivors, hence what you are seeing
