    Very solid review
    Think I'll choose Thai Smile for that flight too when I'm in Thailand in February

    So much better than any budget airlines in Europe and the US for such a short flight. It deserves higher scores in my opinion.

      Thanks for your feedback. Genuinely curious in which categories you’d raise the scores? Thanks for watching 🙏🏻

    Comprehensive, well-crafted review. Extra points for reminding us of your height when commenting on leg-room and a good selection of music.

    Please help me choose between Thai Smile and Bangkok Airways on the same route.

      The flights are near identical. Take which ever has more convenient timings for your schedule or lower prices.

    Very cool trip report! I had almost the exact same experience flying with them on the same route :)

    Great trip report. Sad to see all of the Thai Airways planes parked like that.

      It is a sad sight. Hoping next time I pass through it will be a bit better. Thanks for watching 🙏🏻

    1:33 Oh wow, even the Dvarapala in the airport are wearing masks, lol.

    Hey do you need RTPCR or vaccine certificate proof for local domestic flights like these in Thailand?

    • @tfft
      @tfft  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      No test was needed after your entry protocols were complete (Test & Go or Sandbox), but Vaccine proof was required for all domestic flights I took in November & December 2021. Thanks for watching 🙏🏻

    Thanks for sharing and wondering why you dislike ThaiVietjet?

    • @tfft
      @tfft  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I don’t think I mentioned disliking them? Just pointed out how scrappy they tend to be with their aircraft, the one I pointed out still in the WOW livery if I remember correctly. Same thing applies to Vietjet in VN. Fly them all the time and have a favorable trip report on them coming out next month. Thanks for watching 🙏🏻

    Thai Smile is NOT “LOW COST”, it’s full service!

    • @tfft
      @tfft  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I understand it is not a traditional LCC/ULCC but there was no onboard service and it was $29, that’s pretty low cost to me ☺️ Thanks for watching.

      @@tfft theyre a full-service regional carrier just like Qantaslink, Lufthansa Regional, BA CityFlyer, United Express among many others.

    I had no idea this Airline even existed, thought it was just a catchy title, nope it's legit! On par with Jetstar, Air Asia or Ryan Air although l am confused why did they give the snack bag on arrival? Would it not make more sense on departure 🤫 For the price you paid it was a great way to get from A-B👍

      Bangkok Airways and Nok the same. Not allowed to eat on board (cannot remove your mask for any reason…) so they give as you depart.

    lolz no time to paint the whole plane, just slap the name on the tail. Wow is just an expression anyway, right? (I get the feeling the suvarnabhumi was built by the military...?)

    • @tfft
      @tfft  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah, kind of like “WOW, this plane is strange looking” ☺️ Thanks for watching 🙏🏻

    We travelled through ThaiSmile and they informed about the flight preponement a day before. Very unprofessional of them. Even the timings and dates were mentioned ambiguously.

      Delays happen even during the best of times. These days, it's best to approach travel with flexible expectations. Thanks for watching 🙏

    A flip flop name you have. So why is suvarnabhumi airport ugly but beautiful..I never heard anyone say this but you only..if the airport functional ..who care really..after all we only there for a reason..holiday or bussiness matter..

    • @tfft
      @tfft  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If you’ve never heard someone refer to BKK’s design as cold and industrial then you may not have been listening 😂. For some of us (myself included), airports are not just ‘functional’ buildings. Thai culture and architecture is colorful, intricate and full of life. BKK, is not. Thanks for watching 🙏🏻
