    Thanks for this and Happy 4th of July 2023! You are one of my favorite YT guitar teachers. Easy explanations with just the right amount of theory.

    Your very easy to follow and see your fingers.and you explain it so it's easy to understand the extras and I appreciate it.i told myself recently that it's a crime to play some guitar and have Kramer, ibonez,several accoustics,etc. But not know or never really thought to learn the spangled banner....unamerican...lol but I will say that there are times when it seems difficult to recall how the song goes note for note.its not a difficult song to play but difficult to remember it all..I'm about half way through since I spent only 25 minutes so far..thank you for the video.watcbed 7 others for a couple minutes each till I found this...they were nothing compared to this.and all were on the other end of the neck

    What a great video! Thank you so much! I have been playing less than a year but I'm able to play this. This kind of lesson is great because I mostly lessons that are too hard or too easy, this is right in that sweet spot👍

    Steve thank you so much, i loved Hendrix’s version and tried to somehow write down what i could, but it was impossible because there’s way to much going on, even for me as a beginner. I thought I’m sure i could get the basics written down, knew i could never play hendrix’s version, but the basics. And I couldn’t until you’ve just shown us all a great way to get into it before adding some rock to it if you like. Really appreciate this video. Thanks again. Also amazing style of guitar you’ve got, really nice.

    Interesting to see this, I improvised this by memory a few months ago. Not the whole anthem, but most of it, starting on the 9th fret of the D string.

    Steve, I am curious. If i play the G chord shape with the capo in the first fret and move up with my shape is it still a G? If not how do i know what it is.

    Hey happy 4th. I got alittle problem here thoe.. I'm thinking theory is just like a hypothesis.. A educated guess... Hmm.... Am I on to something?

    • @stinemusiclessons
      @stinemusiclessons  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah, Theory can be good at times, but can prohibit the "big picture" at other times.
