    Concise, and accurate. Sometimes just a little study of the word’s Greek or Hebrew definition is all it takes to explain things that may seem at odds with itself. The Word of God is perfect. Our understanding is often what causes the problem and that is usually due to lack of study into whatever we may be struggling to understand properly. God bless you brother.

      I see Isa 45:7 in contrast with the claim in Exo 32:14, the King James Version. In the King James Version of Mat 19:17 at
      least, I note how Jesus claims only God the Father is good but claims to not be ONLY good despite what others think 🕵‍♀
      In 2 Thess 2:9,10,11,12 🤔- an admission that all who
      find pleasure in unrighteousness, God will send a lie they will believe 🔥
      In Hosea 13:4,5,6,7,8 he says he will seek others out - says that he is going to, like a lion, devour them aka has a dark side in
      chaos (no truth) as a light side of his counters his darkness with truth! knowledge of, good and evil? John 15:6-15 vs Rev ❤‍🔥
      said to speak through an angel, has wings up until he becomes born of "the virgin Mary" as a human seen as Jesus
      Is it a deception to believe jealousy, felt by the LORD, in the Old Testament is good because the LORD is seen as
      being God the Father and not "God the Father as the Word in the flesh" in Mat 19:17? (where Jesus corrects) ⏳
      .. what if it is an admission that he is a mix of good and evil while in the
      flesh? In the Old Testament, he seems to be in the flesh in parts of it 🐺
      and all who wrongly call what is good "evil" but then wrongly call evil "good" 📜vs Rev: peace with the second death 🐑🐺

      I think it is possible that the lie written of in 2 Thess 2:9-12 is meant to be sent inside and outside the bible
      and I wonder if it is a test, to see who is willing to call evil "good" if they see it as God who does these acts!
      I read there are seven Spirits of God that surround a being - AMP bible says what it does in Luk 18:18-19
      and many say a sinless God sends a sinful Satan to do dirty work (Job) yet is not counted as sinful? if a
      hitman is hired by a guy, we luckily hold both at fault for the sins here.. not just the one that was hired 🔥
      said by Jesus that a goal is to be seen as his friend, not his servant and he says how we get to be seen as
      that (Joh 15) - Rev, his servants are? temporary vs eternal punishment! pleasure in 🔥sinners; back it?

      @@fire-windandsheer-walls-of-icejust to for understanding, you think God allowed the Bible to be changed to test us ? So what would the lesson be ? Not to trust the Bible? No judgement just asking.

      @fire-windandsheer-walls-of-ice 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@sackclothanavah6967 I am not sure what you mean by changed; what appear to be opposite claims in the bible
      are seen by certain individuals while many see either one or the other of these different opposing claims then they
      refuse to look the other opposing claims up much of the time cause they are really confident they're not in there 😅
      In the bible, John shows how Jesus said a goal should be to be seen as a friend instead of a servant! said
      the way to accomplish that is by following the commandment given in Joh 15 - and John is still seen as a
      servant of Jesus in Rev! as John seems to go along with an idea, to eternally torture certain individuals 🔥
      If one considers who said it, how it is said, who Rev reveals them to be (shares if one can trust claims said to have
      been made by them) then the bible seems trustful.. issues more to do with how it is comprehended, at the least 🦅
      It implies what about those who go along with Jesus in Rev? that they are not loving others hence not following a
      commandment Jesus gave in Joh 15 is what it seems, I believe - if true, it further shows that points of view in the
      bible need to be considered while the text is read carefully. In it, trick wording at times -- serpent said to be subtle!
      If one truly wants the truth while refusing to see what one wants to see, then the bible appears to be a book that can
      be trusted - I get frustrated with how things are done at times, but I think it is fair to test us to see who's willing to go
      along with sin as if it is good since it is thought a sinless God who did it e.g. animal sacrifice? jealousy? torture? etc?
      ----------- In the bible, said to be no love in fear! love all but be smart about
      it? redemption for all, reincarnation seems to be subtly
      hinted at in the bible at times! also a hint in Exo 32:1-14 vs Rev 21:8? ---
      It seems as if certain wicked behaviors tickle the ears of many, certain people wanting others tortured eternally and
      this may be how 2 Thess 2:9-12 kicks in for certain people? effectin' any who take pleasure in what is wicked 🔥🐉

    You were so close to saying it correctly. God DOES "create" moral evil, in that moral evil doesn't actually exist unto itself, but is the absence of moral good (God's will). The same as dark is really the absence of light, cold vs heat and so on. God is 100% good, holy, just, righteous. Therefore the absence of God is 100% bad,evil,unjust,wicked. Life, light, and love belong to God.

      Look I believe in Jesus and I died once(went unconscious) upon reviving the gospel was revealed as truth, the most immediate phrase was told into my mind was that Christians will go against Christians, just like it's biblically written. I unfortunately do not respect God nor love him to such a lvl to respect him. Idc how good he is, there's babies kids, family torn apart at wars, yet he blesses the most evil ppl that don't get caught with evil crime. I'm speaking from a debate stance, not one of hatred towards God, but one of seeking an answer. What you said is completely selfish being that others never have that chance to begin with. Yet we are threatened by God when we question his ways .. some being evil. So you go to hell for him creating the very evil that will lead ya there but then you tell me by overcoming that evil it creates your character, yet he is the author of evil. Do you know how manipulative that sounds. God doesn't give you a choice, it's forced free will. I'm sorry but after something's that I've witnessed from self professed Christians, how evil seems to hurt the ppl that are living normal(yes I know salvation is for everyone) but when does the forgiving of such evil ppl stop for ppl that don't try to commit repetitive evil. We should be allowed to quit life if God wants to play us by building our character yet send us to hell because we didn't ask for this life ... Yet he plays with us like toy soldiers. He's literally admitting he's your cause of you pain and peace, yet this BS about "it's to build your character" while he burns ppl that are just human and God acts like a female who wants attention (faith) for him to reveal himself, knowing very well he exist, he sees lil babies and kids involved in sexual trafficking, I mean he is literally sitting on his throne seeing babies sold for sex even some with drugs in them.... I'm sorry but your response is not a good explanation to excuse his evil bear traps he sets.

      @paulgavian90 Well, I have good news for you. God isn't real. All those horrible things happen because a lot of people are really horrible, and that's just it. Many of us WANT there to be an explanation for it all that we can easily understand and most of us hate the idea that we're going to die and that's the end of it. That's why so many people cling to their belief in the existence of God. But none of it makes any sense. Its equivalent to believing in fairies and dragons. Yeah, it sounds neat, but its not reality. So many of the things you describe are exactly why I know there's no God. If God was real then he could have made it so we didn't need to overcome anything. He could have just put us in Heaven and we'd already be there. But no, he had to make evil and had to create humans in a way in which we have to earn Heaven, or otherwise be damned and tortured forever. Makes zero sense because its not real. So I'm sorry the world sucks a lot, but its not a God pulling the strings. Some people just suck. But there is still a lot of good in the world, and there's no god responsible for that either.

    As a Christian I find it interesting that to fully understand God’s Word, one has to study Hebrew, Greek, Aramaic, and other languages. I wonder how someone could be a knowledgeable, good, Christian during the centuries when only 10% of the population could read. Thus, one depends on the knowledge of others to tell you the truth. Therefore, we ended up with the concepts of Limbo, Purgatory, mortal and venial sins, forgiveness through confessing to a person, Canon Law, indulgences. and other man-made “truths.” And yes, purveyors of these “truths” say they are based on the Bible.

      Lol. It used to be death penalty for having Bible in readable languages... The church authorities actually believed folk might read it .. if they could. The subsequent 400 years have proved the opposite, hence all the nonsense and non biblical stuff remains (for most) eg 1st day Sabbath (Sundays) and folk claiming that "(i make the good) and I create evil", means something other than god creates evil.

    Isaiah 45:7
    This verse has been badly translated from the Hebrew text. Lets take a close look at two words here, the words "create", and "evil". The verb "create" or "bara" in the Hebrew requires the rendering "to bring about". This word has to be determined in the context of it's use.
    The word "evil" is never rendered "sin", but "calamity". God brings calamity into our lives as the inevitable consequences of the sin that is committed. God is saying that if you chose to bring sin in your life, you can count on the calamity that will follow. God has not created the sin, or evil, but God has created the individuals that have turned to evil. Then when you get out of line, God provides the distress within your life to show you that you are out of line, and by that calamity you know it is time to repent and get back into line.

      James 1:13-15 very clearly eliminates this interpretation. As the video explains, the KJV is using "evil" in the sense of a consequence of sin and rebellion-- NOT "sin" itself. What you're doing is eisegesis instead of exegesis (meaning you're reading something into the passage that wasn't intended by the writer). Regardless of one's view on God's sovereignty vs. human free will, THIS passage is absolutely not an argument for God creating or predisposing us to commit sin.

    If evil is understood as a ‘privation of good’, then the Almighty could be understood as allowing privations in order to bring a greater good.
    But if evil is understood as a ‘literal physical evil’, then this understanding seems no different than the Manichean heresy.
    Yes, it is a subtle distinction. But this is a crucial distinction and I think Chaos theory comes in at this point - a minor change in the initial conditions can have a big change in the final outcome.

      If I can bring this discussion down to a more biological level, I think of the butterfly. There are some who saw a butterfly struggling to escape from its cocoon. And in an effort to help them, they prematurely took the butterfly out. But then the butterfly died because it required the struggle to to grow. Some efforts to 'help' actually 'kill'.
      Charlie Brown used the best cuss word since he was prone to say, "Good Greif". There's nothing really bad about saying random accidents can be good. Just DON’T 'cause accidents' on purpose in a weird effort to cause good. As Romans 3:8 says, "Their condemnation is deserved.” Some people even slander us by claiming that we say, “The more we sin, the better it is!” Those who say such things deserve to be condemned.
      I think one of most global crisis in philosophy today comes from STRANGE PHILOSOPHIES are who are conflating the idea of "ALLOWING struggles to bring growth" with "CAUSING struggles to bring growth."
      "ALLOWING struggles to bring growth"
      Is NOT the same as...
      "CAUSING struggles to bring growth."
      As Isaiah 5:20 clearly warns us, “Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter.”

    A verse that I have pondered for years is the one in Matthew where it says that God created Hell for the Devil and his Angels. (Matthew 25:41) If God created Hell, and the bible also states in Isaiah 45:7 that He creates evil, I feel that it's safe to say that God in fact does create evil. You have to think, the Bible says that without sin, there is no transgression of the law. Who created the law? and Who decided what is against the law? You can't break the law if there is no offense to commit, therfore, God had to have created evil, even if it's the worst way possible that we human could ever imagine. Look at how God brought Hitler to power, (Daniel2:21) just to punish the Jews for Caiaphas' sin when he called down a blood oath upon the heads to the Jewish people, in Matthew 27:25. When you swear an oath to the Lord, he will surely make you repay it.(Deut 23:21). God does in fact bring about evil, even if it's to bring glory to His Name. He did this all throught out Old Testament, and He does it today as well. Just look at the current state of the United States. God is letting rampant crime and other horrible things loose upon this nation for its' many sins agaisnt Him. Just like He did to ancient Israel, and other nations from centuries past. Sodom and Gomorrah come to mind.

      what is "the Fall?"

    • @deanfry879
      @deanfry879 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@anonymousanonymous3579 "The Fall" is a reference to the Garden of Eden when Adam ate of a fruit he was told not too. In the Garden there were two trees at it's center, as you may already know, with many others all around. One of the two was the Tree of Life and the other the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil, the second being the one Adam was told not to eat from. People call the second the Tree of Knowledge for short, but this is a misnomer, for the knowledge is of a specific kind; in this case, the law. So Adam chose to live by law over living by promise as represented in the Tree of Life. It is not that law is bad, it is that humans can't handle law without the promise of life first; this is why Adam was warned he would die. So Adam's eating is out of order of what would do him good. Because of Adam's choice, we know good and evil from the experience of evil rather than from the experience of good. It is only in Jesus's death and resurrection we can see good and evil from an experience of good, though a hard good, since Jesus chose to stand in the way of our permanent death, if we accept it from Him. In this way, each of us gets to make Adam's choice for ourselves instead of it being made for us.

      @anonymousanonymous3579 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@deanfry879 so if that is unlikely then what is your claim?
      Edit: Adam repented from listening to Satan. Is his repentance meaningless since the punishment is still given?
      Edit: And the Lord God said, “The man has now become like one of us, knowing good and evil. He must not be allowed to reach out his hand and take also from the tree of life and eat, and live forever.”
      Therefore, man would never have known good from evil had he not eaten from the tree.
      God is all-knowing, he knew when he told Adam not to eat from it, he would not listen and that he would be deceived into eating the apple and would then turn towards Him in repentance.
      Edit: Putting enmity between the children of Satan and the children of Eve sounds like a true blessing and not a punishment for Adam as most perceive.

    God cannot be divorced from evil. If God is everything. And everything consists because of and through him. Then God also would be the source. Otherwise you end up with a separate power and entity. An entity who also has power to create. Putting that entity on the same level as God. A creator. So either God is the source of everything in our reality. Or there is another Creator as well. Make up my mind. Either God is the author of everything here or he's not.

    Hey brother I say this in all respect, but that is not the hebrew translation provided in the KJV concordance. In Isaiah 45:7 it does refer to evil as evil, as both natural or moral. I only bring this up because I am still seeking understanding on what is said. Hope to hear back.

    So God created, me, my brain, natural evil, the thoughts in my brain were created by God, God also has the power to STOP moral evil but chooses not to many times, God also gets angry, forces people to worship him, and I'm supposed to believe that God did not create the ability for humans to make evil decisions? Would that not be evil? If I had the power to stop an evil thing from happening and do nothing, is that not an evil act?

    If God created everything, then by their design, all outcomes stem from God...aka, tree of knowledge of good and evil...God created that tree in order for choice to be made.

      That's what happens when people try to understand things with their own mind that are far too high for them!
      Jesaja 55,
      8 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD.
      9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.

    I myself, rccr, do prefer to read and study with the NKJV (the New King James Version) however almost all translations and versions are good enough, only when you read all the books in the Bible.(66 books total) if you bring a teaching from just one verse, there is a good change what you are teaching is Not from devine inspired sources.

    Chris, you have already declared you dependency on HIM through prayer request.
    After we declare our dependency a burden is lifted from our thoughts and consciousness and help us breath with all the worries and concerns.
    That has been my experience.
    Cast your care upon him and he will lift you up in due time.
    That in my prayer for you today and you will be in thoughts and prayer.

    Only THE WORD OF THE LORD can answer this question. Deutoronomy 28:15 to 68 answers this question perfectly as to why God creates evil. He does it when we don't, or cease to hearken unto the voice of the Lord our God, to observe to do all his commandments and statutes (verse 15). Curses are definitely evil that God creates when people turn away from following God and his holy commandments.

    Here is a better translation ESV: Isaiah 45:7
    [7] I form light and create darkness;
    I make well-being and create calamity;
    I am the LORD, who does all these things.

      KJV+ King James Version
      Romans 9:15-22:
      For he saith to Moses, I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion. So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that showeth mercy. For the Scripture saith unto Pharaoh, Even for this same purpose have I raised thee up, that I might show my power in thee, and that my name might be declared throughout all the earth. Therefore hath he mercy on whom he will have mercy, and whom he will he hardeneth. Thou wilt say then unto me, Why doth he yet find fault? For who hath resisted his will? Nay but, O man, who art thou that repliest against God? Shall the thing formed say to him that formed it, Why hast thou made me thus? Hath not the potter power over the clay, of the same lump to make one vessel unto honor, and another unto dishonor? What if God, willing to show his wrath, and to make his power known, endured with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath fitted to destruction:
