I wanted to give a nice speech at her wedding but she told our parents she didn’t want me to because I’d embarrass her in front of everyone. That really hit me hard but not nearly as hard as the time she came out and said she was ashamed of me because of my stutter. The final nail in the coffin was when she cut our mom out of her life and started using our dad whenever she wanted something pricey for her kid or self. She once made my dad buy her husband an insanely overpriced tool box. It costs thousands of dollars. She just always expects him to do these things and no thanks are ever said. I love my little niece but rarely see her because I cannot stand her parents. They are expecting a baby boy in a couple months. I got to say, I feel bad for him already.

We gave him access to our car(cause he didn't have his own), and let him use the bank card for gas and groceries. How does he repay our goodwill? By nearly putting me, and my disabled mom, out on the streets. First he crashed our car(NBD, it was fixed and accidents happen, right?). No no, how did he nearly put us on the streets? By taking out hundreds of dollars from our bank account, to get his balls off at strip clubs. Putting us at 1000+ in the red at least 2 months in a row. I was having a heart to heart with her over issues I had with her, her behaviour towards me and how she acts behind my back, and she threatened to bring up my issues when the conversation "went bad". I had been having issues with her for the solid last 1.5 years of our friendship, and was being met with a brick wall when I tried to work with her on it, which was why we were having that heart to heart. I believed she would better elaborate in the ways she pressured and gaslit me into, and she didn't. She gave me shallow, smartass answers without elaborating further then, at the end, asked "Are we done now?". I cut her off instantly after the conversation was done and have been returning her energy ever since, she doesn't exist to me and never did, just like she treated me all those years ago

19:52 Dude this literally happened to me, and she thought, and probably still thinks, I was in the wrong for being upset and not wanting to continue to be friends when I cut them off. She would rant to me for hours about how depressed she was and tell me she was going to hurt herself. And she texted me randomly late at night saying that she wanted to end it several times. Then she added her boyfriend to our group chat and he did the same thing. Then 1 day I had a breakdown because I had a seizure and lost my license and job, and had a severe concussion and split my forehead. I texted them that I wanted to end it. And she texted back "Can you not send messages like that into the group chat randomly? Its really triggering for me and Len."
To be fair, it did talk me down from an attempt, because I was so incredibly stunned that I just said "Oh. Ok" and unsent the messages and sat there staring at a wall in shock. And I just kindof went to bed after that. What kindof a person is that self absorbed? That just awful and inconsiderate horrible personality, how does that even exist. Its so gross.
She was really angry a few days later when I said I didn't think we should be friends anymore, and told me I was "over-reacting, ignoring her feelings about it (her feelings about me almost dying by choice?), cutting her off for no reason, making stuff up, not giving her any warning" and kept asking me for proof and stuff, and then had her boyfriend ask for proof separately, then when I sent them both proof she said I was trying to turn her boyfriend against her. So I put them in a group chat and sent it there. And she told me I was "refusing to leave them alone and wouldn't stop texting them." When all I texted were answers to their questions.
Anyways good to get out of that right? Good thing she was across the country and just an emo brat.

When I was in college, I studied abroad. I was only able to do it because my scholarship allowed me to, and I ended up in a large group with kids from other colleges, too.
Apparently, these kids were used to having money. They liked to go out partying and clubbing every week, whereas me and my friend from the same college as me (and also on the same scholarship) would stay back because we had little money to throw around. I didn't mind this; after all, it's okay to have differing tastes and hobbies. They're party people, and I'm not, but we still got along fine.
What made me pissed off was when we had a week off from school, and a group of them were going to fly out to Thailand, Japan and Korea for that entire time. They invited me to come along, but I declined because I didn't have the money for it. "Come on! It's only $3,000!"
Um, what? I didn't have $3k to waste on one week, and I'm willing to bet they weren't even counting money for car rentals, food, shopping, and various trips within those countries. I was barely getting by with a couple hundred per month! They reminded me of that meme where the woman holds a banana and asks, "Oh come on, how much could this possibly cost? $10?" And after I declined, they kept rubbing the trip in my face when they came back.
"Oh, this place was SO nice. You should've been there."
"It's too bad you couldn't come with us to Korea and Japan, it was great!"
"Thailand was a really cheap country, you could've at least gone there with us."
The elitism these kids exhibited was astonishing.

I had a friend who I had always known was self-centered but it had alway's been in a minor, ignorable, "that's just how he is roll your eyes and move on" kind of way. I invited him to play Dnd and it went fine at first but after about 3 months he starts really becoming a problem for the other players in ways that were minor enough on their own but recurring more and more and he is PMing me every week with new ideas for how I could "improve" the game (all of which revolved entirely around his piece of shit character everyone else found obnoxious) Eventually we told him if he wanted to keep playing he had to shape up and never mention his character again because we all hated them. but he kept doing the same shit and we kicked him. He then sent me a 6 page rant from a delusional narrsisist about how it was all my fault and how unfair it was that the rest of the players didn't do whatever he wanted to do whenever he wanted to do it. I informed him I would be sending his rant to the other players so they could see what he thought of them and we could all make fun of what a narrsisistic dumpster heap of a person he was (which I know that was probably not the best way to handle the situation, but at that point I was like fuck this dude) and to never contact me again and then blocked him. Hope he rots in his own lack of friends.

Just to give a little context, Laurel was a student leader, with emphasis on the moral/spiritual side of life. So I was kinda disgusted that she would make jokes over Rhonda's expense.
I straight up called her out, saying she shouldn't talk behind Rhonda's back (btw I am NOT confrontational, so this was hard), and she had no right to make fun of someone's mental state. Laurel just laughed it off, and didn't address it.

For me it was an accumulation of things but this one thing really put me off. One day I was hanging out with my friend “Sarah” and she started telling me about some “drama” between her and one of her other friends. Sarah told me that her friend (we’ll call her Meg) wanted to hang out with her and her crush from school. So Meg, Meg’s crush, and Sarah were supposed to get together. Well, before this even happened, Meg explicitly asked Sarah to NOT go after her crush AGAIN. Again??? When Sarah said again I immediately knew where this was headed. She continued and told me that when they did eventually meet up, she had a lot in common with Meg’s crush so they decided to exchange numbers under her nose and eventually hung out alone without Meg. They did this a few times and then both eventually came clean to Meg and said too bad we like each other. Meg CLEARLY was pissed and stopped being friends with Sarah right there. Sarah then goes on to tell me how she’s the victim in this situation and is trying to get me on her side of things. I’m sitting there nodding and agreeing but the whole time I’m thinking “this is how you treat your friends? Yea I’m not sticking around much longer. Clearly you only care about yourself”

Eh my story is about my bf’s. He didn’t technically learn nor was this his best friend but his friend chased him with a knife around his house outside demanding that my bf give him his keys and wallet. They haven’t seen nor talked since then. And before that I told him him his friend seemed to give off red flags but my bf still wanted to stay friends with him cause he was optimistic. But I’m glad they’re not friends and I’m glad everything’s smoothed out. No police or anything were involved that’s my only issue🤦🏼‍♀️

My friend, who is married admitted that she was sleeping with her best friends husband. The couples always hung out, went on vacation together and their children went to the same school. I lost all respect for her. I became distant as I no longer trusted her.

Do you know what I hate? People who have the money to buy cigarettes and waste their time smoking but can't think that that money would help them way more if they used it for something else. If any of my friends smoke or start smoking I will either not be their friend anymore and will probably despise them or I will try to help them stop. Smoking kills in more ways then one.

About 5 years after completing trade school, I haven't seen most of my good friends from that school.
One day, my friend Curtis contacted me and i was very excited. I caught him up on everything going on. Getting married, having a kid, buying a house and all that good stuff.
One day he messages me, telling me his kinks and said he wants send me a 'self satisfaction' video.
I give him a long message explaining "you know, I was very happy that you contacted me. I was happy to hear from my friend again but I never thought you would ever do nothing like this, especially after I told you that I'm married. This is disgusting and disreapectful. You've disappointed me and I don't want to hear from you again. I hope you get better."
And I never talked to him again.

So back at Uni my housemate let his friend crash with us because he apparently was kicked out his parents place. People fall on hard times and I am not one to judge. I would have done the same for my friend. But what was supposed to be „ just for a couple of weeks until I find a job“ turned into 8 months of him lying on the couch & watching tv, not helping with ANY chores or financially contributing to the house. My friend picked up his slack and basically paid for every meal for that leech of a man. At the end of Uni we all move out of the house in the same week. As friends do, we all helped each other out packing, demantling furniture & cleaning everything. Except, of course, the leech. He conviniently went to stay with another friend in another city for a couple of days. He comes back with only 2 days left to go. My friend is panicing because he still has so much left to do before the movers get here, so I help him and ask where leech is. He answers „oh, he is upstairs cleaning & packing. He has so much to do“. I go upstairs. There he is: lying on the floor watching Netflix. He has his stuff packed. His. Nothing else. The stuff of his friend who let him stay and fed him for 8 months straight for free stayed untouched. He also didn‘t clean sh*t. After I asked him why he wasn‘t helping he had the audacity to say „it‘s not my house. Why would I?“. My heart broke in that moment for my friend. He did not deserve such a sh*tstain of a human in his life. Needless to say, he didn‘t even say thank you for letting him live with us for 8 months.

15:50 if your friend is like this you need to realize there is no longer time for consolation support or words you need to kick their ass and FORCE them to man up. It might seem impossible to you how someone could just accept that but some people are just very emotionally weak and you have to step in

She then said "So my own sister doesn't care?" Like, I said what I said because I care. Needless to say, after that fight, we stopped talking all together. But she freely talks to my siblings, but completely ignores me. 😑😮‍💨🥺

    Junior year of high school,
I sat with a group of friends at lunch and one of them brought a another friend that we didn’t know very well. Sometime past, see got along with her. But after ending the friendship with the “other friend.” I realized she was somewhat of an attention seeker and a pathological liar. There is this one time one of the friends at the table was talking about the Muslim Concentration Camps in China. We talk about it but the “other friend” that we got to know then proceeded to say (these are the exact words I will never forget) “can you stop talking about that? It makes me want to kill myself.”

I called the Sheriff's dept. and Adult Protective Services. Now when she gets out of jail, the po po will be watching her! Oh well, shouldn't have left mom to fend for herself. I had a childhood friend, let's call her Hannah, who had a brother, let's call him Ben. My sister, let's call her Mary, was best friends with Hannah. Hannah was really spoiled, and a mean girl stereotype. Blonde hair, blue eyes, did gymnastics and ballet, etc. The only reason I was friends with her was because we were raised together. Anyway, Hannah would avoid Ben like a plague. She would constantly bully him and treat him like an outcast. She would do that as far as I could remember. One day, me and my sister have enough of her bullying and stuck up for Ben. Hannah freaked out. Her face went red, she was crying, screaming at us. She yelled "Mind your beeswax, >insert my last name
