I ordered my 2016 XC90 in 2015. I was on a 5 month waiting list. Got exactly what I wanted. Purchasing the first model year made me nervous especially with new owners. At first you could tell the service area was not prepared for the volume. When I would take it in for little items they were slow. Fast forward to 2021, the service has improved significantly. After a FEW BUGS, it's been dependable SUV. Only downside is the mileage is not as good as posted. The doors are sold when you close them and I feel safe driving it. I still get compliments and I would recommend the XC90 to others. Thanks Miles for the video!

I have a fully loaded 2017 T6 XC90 R-Design (4 corner air suspension, Bowers & Wilkins audio, carbon fiber interior, etc.). No major issues after 4 years of ownership either. I always download the latest Volvo Sensus software upgrades so my navigation and tech is current with newer models. It still feels modern and current and I'm in no hurry to get rid of it any time soon.
Just ordered XC90 T8 R-design 2022. I'm happy with my XC60 T8 R-design from 2020 but need bigger since our family has increased to 5 🙂 Battery could of course be bigger but since this will be my last petrol car I'll try to enjoy it 👍
I think that is a good SUV but I think that NVH isn't the best, thats a lot of noise filtering inside of the cabin. More generalist SUVs like toyota highlander and cx-9 has better worked noises cancelation than that. This XC90 is one of the safest cars on earth, and also is athletic european style but in durability and quality definitely aren't the virtues.
Best luxury SUV available today. Such a beautiful car, and it has aged so well.
