What a great a result -Old CHang Kee's is really excellent I love them - Maybe putting the salt in last was not ideal thing to do - meant you had to knead it more. I hope I can replicate Old Chang Kee's recipe because I am craving curry puffs now but I do not have Malaysian curry powder and that is the best curry taste in the world
i think if you roll and fold a couple more time for the pastry and let it cool down for 30 minutes and roll it out and cut it into 6 circles would make the crust have way much more layers then I think the crust would be on par w OCK crust
Addicted to Old Chang Kee, because its very fast, affordable and very filling, but its all damn sinful. I ate 3 curry puffs or rendang puffs in a row and I got dizzy and high, oil overload kekekeke
Somehow I feel that EatBook does not put in enough effort when making their food? It is almost like they give it on try and then settle on that. Like she said earlier that she did not reach the buttery consistency but yet went ahead with it. What is the point if you try to match it but then don't get it right? If you watch other types of cooking channels they test it out many times before deciding on the final one. This just seems lazy to me.
