You laying that clear like glass 😊 and spray like a the robot gun in the car factory this a bad ass gun, big up to Luna I will try to remember that name when I go to the paint store.
I was JUST watching Paint by Curry, another painter on TH-cam and I noticed his gun and thought wonder what Kandy Man would think of this gun with the light... The irony.
I was watching paint by curry and I noticed the gun he was using and how there was no overspray. Never heard of the Exodus guns. Come to find out they are rebranded Meiji Finer Cores. Heard alot of good things about Meiji guns. Extremely well built. Would love to try one.Might be a DV1 killer LOL
That hood at 2:54 is from my car. It was really bad in the sun...definitely not what you are hoping to find the day after you buy a new car. As good as it looks like it came out in this video, it actually came out 100 times better in person! Kandy Man is a genius!!!!!!! Thanks for doing such an awesome job!
man the clear gun with the 1.5 tip atomizes pure mist and breaks up the thick clear and lets you spray fast!!!!!! gotta get one. Faster jobs out the door. thanks for reviewing thier products. Kept seeing the shorts that guy does with the footage sped up too much without explanations.
I've heard a lot of good things about these guns, they are actually the Meiji Finer Core but Meiji worked in conjunction with Luma to create the custom graphics then called it the Exodus Spray Gun. You did a great job on the base and clear using this gun Kandy Man and they both came out great, so would you say this sprays like or better than your DV1 or would you compare it to one of your other guns🤔 Thanks for sharing🙏👍John UK
@@JohnWD40TC02it is similar to the dv1 in finish quality, with less overspray and more speed. I bought one in a 1.5 because I can always dial it in. It has six turns of adjustment until full open, and Meiji provides a graph of turns out vs fluid flow on their website. About 3.25 turns out on a 1.5 matches the fluid flow of the 1.3.The internal air passes of the gun body release air at multiple levels create tumbling of the air flow, increasing the kinetic energy of the air prior to releasing air into the air cap. Which gives the air more energy to break up the fluid at a given pressure.
spray in the dark is brilliant!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Really curious now about the exudos. I prefer to get a clear/base gun from them but i'll have to research. That gun may just be good enough for clear.
Muy bueno que alguien te esté filmando mientras haces la aplicación de la pintura eso mejora mucho tus videos era algo que no me gustaba mucho porque no podía detallar bien la aplicación del barniz felicitaciones buen acabado
I wish my work would want to invest into something like that. We get way to much overspray for me to buy it myself and use it. I really want a gun washer.
@@dill5500 well I have a hammy down gun from the old lead painter that died. He painted for 40 plus years. He soaked his guns in lacquer thinner… so now I’m forced to do the same unless I get a rebuild kit because the seals shrink and the gun won’t spray right at all. Waiting for my new gun.
Have you tried the walcom guns? The mp cap on the clear is perfect for your style. Their light is super nice. Reach Out to them and see what you can get. Can giveaway to one supportive subscriber. 😉
Thanks for the reply back bro, I have a dv1 clear, base and spot gun along with a bunch of cheap Chinese guns, but saw this gun and really think it covers good. I just purchased a luma 3 today, hopefully it works for me. I know you made it look easy but I have a 20 gallon compressor and only about a year-and-a-half experience but getting good at this pretty fast thanks to people like you putting out content to help us learn the trade. Thanks so much!
Help us rookies out by giving these guns away. I bought 2 lph 400 from a back up painter before I even started painting. Just started using them and loving them definitely looking to buy something new though these look great
The atomization and lack of over spray is incredible... that sun light also amazing
Very impressive

Brilliant talent 👍🏻
KANDYMAN DOES HIS OWN PREP WORK THAT IS A HARD WORKING PAINTER RIGHT THERE

If you got a sketchy color wet bed the whole job after base coat and lights off hit it with the light and check blend

Thanks 👊
YEEEES I've been waiting for this
I think you could paint with a pump up spayer and make it look great 😂😂. Looks like some great products from those guys.
Saw that blue panel you painted for Samcrac. Beautiful work.

Well done kandy man great finish as usual the spray guns are basically the Meiji finer core and they are the art of the Japanese spray guns 👍
Finer core is the perfect name .love the way they spray
@@kandyman5315 it's indeed , they also have another line which is called finer force
Nice video brother looks really good.tell the body man he does good work to
Are the guns different or can you just buy the different air cap and needle for the 1.5 vs. 1.3? Would like to avoid buying 2 guns.
You can definitely do that! You can swap needle/nozzles between the 1.3OP and 1.5OP as well as between the 1.3HVLP and 1.5HVLP
Another excellent job dude, tell me pls with the clear what was u,r settings pls.😊
Wide open fan, fluid 22psi
@kandyman5315 thank you sir,appreciate u,r came back,have a Blessed evening 🙏🏾
The light is slso handy for clearcoat, i wanna buy the new one but i don't have the money rn
Just got one using your code 💪💯 letsssssss goo
Would you recommend this paint gun set up for painting motorcycles as well or do you have another gun setup you like better?
Would work perfectly
U make any gun spray bad ass kandyman! 🤔1.5 for clear?? Would have never thought it would atomize the high solids clear.
These guns are no joke. Top notch atomization
@@kandyman5315what pressure did you spray the clear at?
YES MASTER!
Did you get them for free for testing there products out
great video! wish the video was higher quality though
👍
Thinking about getting that gun. I’m a DIY. What’s the cfm minimum?? Great video!!
I wish my work would want to invest into something like that. We get way to much overspray for me to buy it myself and use it. I really want a gun washer.
I just bought a ultra sonic cleaner to keep my guns clean works great obviously don’t put the gun it’s self in there tho
I like using SEM 77763 for the flushing it out, helps a ton and the pressure is really nice

Can you use that rack for your gun with the bake cycle?
Yes, you are able to leave your spray case in the booth during your booth cycles. Cheers

Which gun would you say is easier to use and gives less overspray, the Luma 3 or dv1 clear coat?
They both are great guns but I think the Luma exodus has less over spray
Thanks for the reply back bro, I have a dv1 clear, base and spot gun along with a bunch of cheap Chinese guns,

Great video! A few months ago you tested the Iwata guns from your friend. How does the Exodus guns compare to the Iwata?
They are very nice as well

What is the wed bed on top of sealer used for? Thanks
It is a clear base that allows a nice blend
Coupon code didn’ seem to take any money off 😂. Maybe cause I’m making
My own bundle
Works buying single products 🙏🏼 gotta support the kandy man
Can the OP clear 1.5 be used for base coats as well?
Yes you can👊
@@kandyman5315 thank you 🫡 I’m sold
Is this light explosion proof UL-844 certified?
Check with lumaiii.com
Isn't the exodus spraygun same as the meiji finer core or finer force?
I'm new to these guns. I think they have a part in the manufacturing process
We partnered with Meiji and designed our own version called the EXODUS. They are manufactured by Meiji in Japan.
I know your question is a year old, but the Exodus is the same as the Meiji Finer Core. The Finer Force is a smaller gun with side feed.
What kinda gun is that

That 490 a clear base?
Yes
Too much weight ?? No???
I use head light my self if the booth lighting is bad
Which is normally the case ..
