One huge thing you should've mentioned: kill every animal you can, including fish. They are vital to acquiring upgraded gear and crafting potions. Also, collect everything you see. All plants you see, grab them. You'll run out of arrows faster than you think, especially early in the game.

Also check your reward boxes! Sometimes when you complete a mission you'll get a box from a grateful NPC and it might just contain the thing you're looking for.
is not much needed for fish and later game leave mouse alone and is good ideal to do that

From being a scaredy cat who used to run from machines to being an absolute boss in the end who could take on any machine there is
I played on story difficulty my first playthrough so i could focus on the story and world, now on NG+ on ultra hard and its so much more fun having stormbirds, rockbreakers, and behemoths be such a gigantic threat even though im pretty good.
@@Triple-Four for True Hunter experience play on "Pure Ultra Hard" rather on Ng+....you will open up new ways to dominate machines.
Pure Ultra Hard is how this game make more sense where even a watcher can slap you into death 🤣
@@witcherking8768 +1 to this! Im playing on ultra hard from scratch and its awesome, from not seeing the machines health bar, stealthing is a must always, you have to game up the strategy for every encounter. If you go leroy jenkins youre dead
@@RanulfoKnox exactly.....you must figure out a strategy according to the weakness/ limits and fine tune the timings.....basically become a Predator urself. 🏹
@@witcherking8768 Fuck all that 😂 NG+ is already plenty hard. My Banuk bow did 400 damage and Ultra Hard put it down to 50 damage and i get one shotted by scrappers and ravagers at max health and max skill level. Stealth is definitely key. Oh and ropecaster is the ultimate abuser for strong machines, you can take out a stormbird without ever being touched.
They should make it so if you do the tutorials by accident they count

@@swapnil4555 Well as far as my experience goes the quests are actually tracked in the background. They are just not beeing completed. Meaning for quests whrere I had to do a task 3 times I only had to repeat this task one more time with the quest selected in order to complete it..

Stealth is so powerful in this game if you know how to use it right. I recommend rushing the Nora Silent Master armor in The Frozen Wilds if you can.

@@donjuannmbr2 you can buy a map white the locations of all the blue gleams that you can obtain in the area of the frozen wild dlc. There’s a merchant in the middle of the map that sells them. You will also get them as reward when you play the frozen wild quests.
@@donjuannmbr2 Invest in the weapons first. Get the Bluegleam map and start doing the quests. Pick up all the BG you can using the map. My most recent playthrough, I rushed FW to get the best in game weapons at like level 9. Also the treasure box guy will trade high level Lenses for extra bluegleam.
Plus getting the animal figures, and working on the FW quests (main and side) you build it up pretty quick :) Good luck!
i just played 20 hours of the game.... then i realized there is tutorial quests
lmao i never even tried it even when i see the tutorials, and just straight up walk to a machine to play with the new weapon i bought 🤣🤣

i’m stupid late but i finally acquired a ps5 and finally doing my first play through. i’m about 4 hours in and loving everything about it. thanks!
when I first played the game, I struggled through a few cauldrons battle and have to look to youtubes video on the way to best the mini bosses with different arrows and tactics. After completing the game and replaying it with all the arsenal available, I realized how ignorance I am at the game without using my every tools available.
On my 2nd playthrough I relied heavily on trip wire and traps placing them right in path between the cauldron mini bosses and the console and clear the cauldrons with a series of explosions that brought a whole new level of entertainment to me. This is easily one of the best open world game for ps4
Preparation in this game is kinda reminiscent of how you'd prepare for a fight in Witcher 3. Of course not 1:1 but more than not, taking time to place traps & such helps out immensely before engaging a big fight
One of the hardest cauldron battles I had when I first played was the one with the Thunderjaw. Also, in the hunting grounds where they ask you to use stealth, the only trial that used stealth was killing the watchers. The rest of them, not so much.
Tripcaster is your friend in most Cauldron battles.
But, if you enter Zeta Cauldron, Ropecaster should be abused, alongside Cold war arrows and Hard point arrows. Even the biggest lizard robot will be a joke if you restraint it like 98' Zilla.
@@jmw9904 You should take the last silent skill passive where your running steps are silent. Basically clean the Watcher from right to left...
One thing that I found out in another video, and isn't really mentioned anywhere is that after a certain number of kills of each robot type they evolve to gain more defenses
Never knew that , that’s amazing wth
For instance they'll jump over your traps from your tripcaster if you use it a lot
Or their blaze canisters will have armour around them which needs to be shot off before you can set the canisters on fire.
I'm glad to have someone confirm this. I have been playing for a few days, and I was like...is it just me or are they avoiding my tripwires and traps?

The whole game is gorgeous, from the incredible views to the little comments Aloy makes when roaming the wilds, just perfect
Yet somehow they made Forbidden West even better looking
i'm only level 11 so idk how valid this is:
your tip number 6: you don't need to shoot off the canisters off a corpse's body, it's already in the body's loot. You see it in the footage itself, when he checks the body, you get 3 blaze. Shoot the 3 blaze in the body and you check it again and the blaze on the body is gone
However, if you blew em off using a fire arrow, then yeah, you lost that loot.
I think he was saying that using harvest arrows on machine parts after they are killed will get more resources than if you were to just loot it it from the body. You get harvest arrows later in the game than level 11
Btw, it's maybe a wrong settings by the developers, but Aloy doesn't loot the 4 Chillwaters from the ass of Sawtooths. It must be shoot down or you can use the spear to knock it down. :)
Nah use the harvest arrows because you’ll get six instead of 3.
I watched few other videos.. Yours is easily the best. I'm 6 hours into the game and you gave me plenty of nuances and details. Thanks.
Also, the game is incredible!
Pay attention to what your next upgrades cost. Don't horde unnecessary components for nothing. You can use your fast crafting wheel as a brief slowing of time. It can help you read the battlefield. Get Tinker ASAP. Really helps with adjusting builds without being punished and is a ok source for shards later in the game.
Just pull out the bow and jump
I didn’t like this game at first but it grew on me. It had the flavor of classic JRPGs - random encounters, exploration, and a system that isn’t punishing to mistakes.
How can someone not like this game.

Do the Cauldron quests as soon as possible! The Override codes that Aloy gets from these quests will change your entire game. Use Corruption Arrows to turn machines against each other while you watch and get ready to dispatch the survivor(s).
Because she lives in a low-tech society that has learned to use the remains of their high-tech ancestors without understanding them, Aloy’s defensive capabilities will always be very low and her weapons will always be insufficient to allow her to swagger around her world dealing death. In addition, she’s always outnumbered - always. She must be stealthy - she really has little choice. The Override codes will transform your stealth game into your principal strategy for victory.

Also do the ancient armoury quest as soon as possible as it allows you to tank damage

Oh, yeah. The moment I got that Override skill, visiting all the cauldrons was my first priority.
Don't janky jump up mountains to reach an artifact or vantagr point, there is always a vertical path of ledges from the bottom to grab onto
One of the mistake i did when i played this for the first time is only occasionally killing animals/machines when i feel like it or when i run out of materials thats why im always out of resources when fighting powerful machines 😂. Btw if you havethe frozen wilds dlc go there and buy the banuk weapons. You can get them early just buy collecting the blue stuff on the map or buy completing quest
Tip: if you want to slow time while aiming "jump" literally jump while aiming. You're welcome
FYI for ppl reading, you need the hunter reflexes skill to do this
You can as well ride horse back and slide with reflexes as @Jay mentioned
I do this all the time.
That's only true if you unlock the hunter's reflex skill. If you dont have it unlock then it won't work
My favorite skill hands down. It is so much fun
Minor correction - the arrow manufacture - sooner or later you learn how to make more in 1 batch. So its not fixed on 10 / 20 and so on ... Easier to just watch their number and stop half a batch short, if you dont want to waste material
Dont forget to find the power cells - eventually there is crazy ancient armor your going to want and if you miss it in certain areas you can't go back there without glitching the game. 2 spots are very early in the game fyi
search ancient armory power cell locations to make sure you dont miss finding them. wont spoil to much if you look at the right articles.
I got the Shield Weaver Outfit without following the main quest 😄
If you miss the power cells the first time, you can always go back without glitching

@@awesomebeto There's a way you can access Maker's End earlier. Even the Grave Hoard. As soon as the quest "A Seeker At The Gates" is activated, you can look for the power cells and unlock the Shield Weaver armour early on. But the game will be too easy then.
I still think it’s lame your weapons disappear while talking and that your spear is always invisible. It’s such a beautiful game w/ so much detail that it made that jarring to me

Good to know about the harvest arrows, I had no idea what they were for.

The scenery sometimes just leaves me in awe. The story is amazing with all the lore bits. Combat is always fresh cause encounters stay interesting. What more could u fucking want.

The most important tip you missed was to learn each machines vulnerabilities. I saw you using a tear last arrow on a scrapper lmao. I finished the game on ultra hard and just knock two fire arrows and shoot the scrapper to instantly set it on fire then shoot its scanner/gun off its back/head and the fire damage will do the rest. Almost an insta kill on every scrapper even on ultra hard. The same goes for the blaze canisters, power cells and freeze canisters on the machines backs. You can use these canisters to cause chain reactions in groups of machines.
Regarding the arrows crafting point, if you are diligent about clearing machine areas and picking up all of the natural resources every time you get to a new area, you will hardly ever run into an issue of caring about crafting 7 arrows instead of a full 10. Resources are plentiful.
I loved this game when it launched in 2017 and I'm really excited for the sequel.

Hold on to your hearts and lenses . You need them to trade in certain quests and as crafting material for weapons. Slso you can buy them from a merchant in Meridian
Is it weird that i already found out and did everything this video said in my first Playthrough? I mean people really doesn't try to experiment things in their Playthrough. I mean it's your game bought through your money. You have the freedom to do anything you want. No ones stopping you.
Can you tell me which items can be sold which items not recommended to sell
how do it see the weakness parts without follow them? is kind hard on "birds"
another tip would be to keep and eye out for the Power cells even find a video on where the are so you can grab them as soon as you first pass by and not miss them the power cells are used to get the shield armor it is a god send when you play on any difficulty other then story difficulty as once you get to higher level enemy's they hardly ever miss high level Frozen Wilds enemy's NEVER miss nothing like a massive Robo Bear trying to body slam you so you roll out of the way but using some vodo magic the prick changes direction mid air and lands on you. on normal and above difficulty's you will lose HP fast on the highest difficulty's a single encounter can leave you will barley any HP left and no medicine or potions to heal with. the shield will soak up a lot of the damage and it can re-gen also adds a good buffer so you can survive most one shoot kill attacks and some fall damage. also kill a bore or 2 ever now and then so you have the materials to make fast travel packs and kill some foxes till you get a fox skin with 50 shards and 10 fatty meat you get Golden Fast Travel Pack it gives unlimited Fast travels.
Trip caster blast wires are bomb like seriously op

Fun fact:If there are large machined around and you can convert them with that little spear thingy then you should, this will stop you from needing to kill a strong opponent and make them take care of enemies for you

Only thing I would also recommend is using the modifications to the strength of the weapon, some weapons are better than others at specific things. Use the modification that is suited to that weapon
Oh thanks man. This whole time I was using fire mods on a bow that doesn't have fire arrows, and freeze mods on a bow without ice
Buy blast sling + the cheapest bow supporting harvest arrows.
Farm blaze by mass slauthering grazers with harvest arrows.
You can obliterate everything land based with infinite stunlock in starter locations.
Rush north, buy crystal map, collect crystals, get Banuk Powershot+Banuk Champion bows.
Get triple shot.
Farm legendary mods from Thunderjaws + Stormbirds.
Deck out Banuk Powershot and sling with purple damage mods, Banuk Champion with purple frost mods.
Get armor for range damage resist and deck it with purple range damage resist mods.
You can forego stealth completely and just slauther everything rambo-style using frost triple shot + sling close range and tearblast tripleshot+precision triple shot long range even if you play on Ultra Hard.

How to resolve no voice issue in horizon zero dawn PS4? PLEASE HELP!!
Ive been playing horizon 3 years (not every day obviusly atleast once every 2 months) i have complete it like 30 times and like 20 con ultra hard, the best option is hace triple arrow skill, jump to freeze time and then shoot
U will just have to dodge and learn the timing of the attacks of every machine, have once of each bow, normal, war and the elemental, the 4th slot put anything usefull
Use the right arrow depending on the enemy, like to big machines with weapons just use purple arrows and the rest will be just triple arrow the strong arrows with the normal bow and the rest its just dodge and shoot
The game un general is waaaaay to easy if u know how to use its "exploids" like the dodge por jump to freeze time and not use focus skill, and if u all want a challange complete frozen wilds in a totally new game in ultra hard and in low level at the start of the game (i just got the shield armor (with glitches) and the went to frozen wilds) last month i tried it and OMG i really had a hard time there but i complete it
1:35 This + some ace shooting with a long-range bow is my strategy from the jump in literally any game that will allow it. 😂 I just instinctively go ninja archer.
In ps5 are only 30fps right?

Here's a helpful tip it took me a while to learn: if you jump while you're aiming, it will slow down time. Very helpful imo
I think that's one of the skills. So you have to get it first. I may be wrong.

Wow. I did not know that we can still farm the machine components when the machines are already dead...
This isn't gamebreaking but it's something the game never tells you: to manually put your weapon away, bring up the weapon wheel & click the right analog stick
I know its not much but I'm surprised the game never once mentions this & for roleplay, it makes things simpler simpler waiting for Aloy to put it away on her own. Just thought it would be worth mentioning

I have played this game and finished it more than 5 times but I didn’t knew a few of these
There is also a exploit: when you drop a potion or trap twice it will duplicate. For example, if you drop 6 potions you get 12. You can either sell them for tons of shards or just to restock your supplies.

ok for beginners stealth is probably really good but when youre better and higher level stealth isn't necessary like i can run into bandit camps and just kill everyone pretty easily although i might use my health herbs and potions i can just find and buy more

I have played this game for 40 hours and I just knew about the harvest arrow 🤣
Getting the golden fast travel pack. It’s not that expensive. After I beat the game at 100%, I learned about the golden fast travel pack... so it wasn’t at much use for me anymore.
The gold fast travel is useless. Most places you fast travel to will have a merchant. Each merchant has a free reward box which always had fast travel packs inside. They can also be looted off bandits. I finished the game twice and always had a surplus of fast travel packs.
u didnt show u use harvest arrows on containers...only they allow u to gain more loot.
+5 to container resources. this makes a grazer give 24 blaze instead of 4.
Ropecaster is another tool to learn & use
Should you sell stuff like grazers heart or strider heart?
Sell all but one of each. You sometimes need one for trading for weapons or outfits, in additions to money (shards)
Question: how many manual saves can you make? I'm lvl 19 but when I want to manual saves, i cant add more saves. Do I like press the most recent one I saved which was when i was lvl 17, will i go back to lvl 17 or will that be overwritten to the lvl 19 and dont lose progress. Plz Help.
When you save you should select an older save and it will ask you if you want to override it then click yes, it won’t revert back and you won’t lose progress.

Just started playing, the thing I wish I knew before starting: Stalkers are evil. I hate those critters to the point I actually lower the difficulty cause I don't want to deal with them.
#6 is wrong, whatever you could shoot off but didn't is available when you're harvesting. For example, if it has 4 blazes, you shoot 2 off, there will be 2 available when you search it. If you shoot none off, all 4 are there when you search.
And for example, Rost's story is told by Teersa after Aloy comes out from the Mountain, IF we don't just walk beside them and go our from the cave.
And it's worth to return to Rost's tomb. Aloy talks to him and the monologue is dependent to the story progress. :)

That's a fun prospect. There are a few videos on how to get the shield weaver outfit early. Once you get that it get easier to tank some of the tougher bosses such as thunderjaw, scrapmaw etc. It's specially useful in those battles we would have against the deathbringers. Too bad they nerfed the armor in higher difficulties.
@@RurouniSanj Tanking Deathbringer, maybe, but you are not supposed to get hit by a Thunderjaw. That thing is slow. Just restraint it with Ropecaster.

My #1 thing is, I wish I had known itd be over so fast. Wouldve spent more time doing the side missions and all that. Instead it just abruptly ends as I'm still midway through my progress
