I had a '63 dual quad 409, and my brother had a '62 4 barrell 409 ss's, our retirement would have been a little easier if we kept the and a dozen more rare cars we had. Oh well so much for 20/20 hindsight. But you know we had a hell of a time! Better to have loved muscle cars and sold them than never had owned them at all!

🤔 Hmm..... This is unusual. Let me see if I can interpret your post....
😕 You said your first car was a Mopar, and that particular model was your favorite.
👉Interpretation: You lived in a region where there just werent any Fords or Mercurys, so you didn't know anything about them yet. But you moved later on, discovered Ford cars, sold the Mopar, and you've been driving cars and trucks with the blue oval badge ever since, and you've never been happier(or faster)!😉👍

👉 What happened to the "world's lowest 65 Comet" @ 4:31? He had an INCREDIBLE start, absolutely blowing the doors off the Mopar at the line. He got loose shortly afterwards, with a little fish tailing, but only for a second. He quickly got it back under control, but then he coasted the rest of the way, with his competitor blowing by him at 2/3 track. I didn't hear or see any obvious signs of catastrophic engine failure. Hmm....??? 🤔
