What is your favorite MLS stadium?
CityPark for my favorite club, St Louis CITY SC!
Soldier Field
Dignity Health Sports Park
Audi Field :)
Children's Mercy Park
It's really nice to see how far a lot of MLS clubs have come in their stadium situations. Same can be said about a lot of USL clubs too. Amazing to see how far soccer has come in the US.
yea I was really impressed with a lot of them for sure!
Its football peakhead
It's football,,, dummy
@@user-nr5hv1uo3kyour seriously getting angry at words?
It's encouraging to see how quickly the sport is growing in the USA and Canada.
Impossible to beat american football, but I think soccer ice hockey and baseball has a possibility to overtaken by soccer within 10 years in America, maybe basketball can be within a sight
Exploria Stadium, but amazed how far the stadiums have come in the last decade.
Chicago and New England desperately need a new stadium. I think 20,000 is perfect numbers for this league. My favorite Stadium is Providence Park in Portland. The updated additions make what was already a great stadium just perfect.
I agree with you 100%. I love going to fire games but 13k fans in a 60k stadium looks awful
Chicago Fire had a stadium. Idk why they left it

Great game great atmosphere, keep going America your doing a great job out there
I love people like you! It gets annoying having to defend your league and club constantly from people who will never give props
Allianz field, Red bull arena and TQL stadium is the only "non-american style" stadiums in my opinion, it's more like a modern international football/soccer stadium. I think rheinenergie stadion and MEWA arena in Germany is the main inspiration for the modern "american style" soccer stadiums.
agree, i know what your means
Love Drv Pink Stadium. The seats have a Miami Vice feel to it.
I vote Hard Rock Stadium
Too bad the team that plays there can’t figure out a way to fill them consistently in the most latino populated city in the country.

@@pasqualerossi6052 definitely a must but the nfl owners would never agree
@@brainysmurf1125 yeah that's true unfortunately, hope the long term plan is that every MLS club has their own soccer-specific stadium.

Ironically MLS has a few football stadiums that are better than a lot of stadiums in LA LIGA, PREMIER LEAGUE, LIGUE 1 and even Bundesliga
Thats because a lot of the MLS stadiums are brand new and not older than 10 years.
But that doesn't make them automatically "better"...
@@julius_the_coolius they’re actually better in commodities, concession and facilities in general. Yeah they’re supposed to be better if their brand new but it’s not like that in every case. Still is good to see football growing in all parts of the world including USA.
not really ironic. theres more money in MLS than in all of those leagues outside of the prem
@@jeremyforbes5244 MLS still behind than most of the top European leagues. As of 2022 they were sitting at the 11# spot when it comes to money. As of 2023 they might be on the top 10 since the Russian has lost so much sponsors, tv deals etc etc
some, but you mentioned all the leagues. MLS stadiums just 'look' good not better, the leagues you name all have FIFA standard stadiums. and they never play football on the baseball field like MLS do LOL🤣

Providence park looks amazing love it, imagine it but if it was in efl. Looks like a mashup between hampden, Carrow road and elland road
It's an unusual park, but very special inside and out. Portland is also football-crazy and the fans make the stadium a very intense place to play in.
I love MLS ❤ Dallas F.C
MLS evolve a lot especially the football specific stadium, while Charlotte not sure about that can keep up with their attendance in the future, New York City FC,Revolutions and Fire really need to build a football specific stadium, either not suitable(baseball stadium for football match is weird)and the other 2 is too big(Revolutions and Fire have been there since 90's, other 90's MLS teams has change their stadium yet this 2 still stuck in a NFL stadium)
Compared to MLB or NBA, the popularity of professional football in the United States is about 20,000 seats at Milini Stadium.
The Incheon soccer stadium for the K-League also has about 20,000 seats.
Orlando City is the best. Geodis, Minnesota United, Cincy FC and Columbus Crew stadiums are also up there. Hard to say. They're all quality.
Good question 🤔
My favourite MLS Stadium 🏟 would be one of the football ⚽️ specific venues...
Actually, it's too hard to call as FC Cincinnati's, NY Red Bulls , St. Louis City SC, Nashville SC, Columbus Crew, Orlando City SC, Austin FC's, Toronto FC, and LAFC's Stadiums 🏟 are all amazing venues.
The MLS has come such a long way since its inception in 1996. It is one of the best football ⚽️ leagues alongside the J-League in Japan outside of Europe.
As a proud Aussie, the Australian 🇦🇺 "A-League" should really take a look at the MLS blueprint because we do not have enough football specific stadiums for our clubs since they ground share many stadiums with other football codes such as the NRL (Rugby League) and Rugby Union.
A League is becoming interesting to me personally. I would love an A League club do a pre season match with our MLS clubs. J League had done that in the past a couple of times. The last one was Vissel Kobe, who had David Villa, Iniesta and Podolski. They lost 3-0 to LAFC.
But majority of MLS clubs play against European clubs during pre season like Chelsea, who lost on penalties against Charlotte FC and Everton, who lost 4-0 to Minessota United. Most pre season friendlies against European clubs nowadays look a lot better than previous years.
Some MLS clubs have a parent club in Europe or a partnership with one. NY Red Bull is owned by the Red Bull company and NYCFC is owned by the City Football group aka Manchester City.
As far as stadiums here goes, I say the best ones are Banc of California now BMO Stadium (LAFC), Allianz Field (Minnesota United), Audi Field (DC United), Geodis Park (Nashville SC), Lower.com Field (Columbus Crew), Q2 Stadium (Austin FC), TQL Stadium (FC Cincinnati), Mercedez Benz Stadium (Atlanta United) and the newest addition, Citypark (St. Louis City SC).
top
Crazy how most of these stadiums are rivaling the ones in Europe
All of the biggest ones towards the end of the video are nfl stadiums being used for mls games
@@jhines5713 Ik 😂. Well Technically Atlanta’s stadium was built for both
@@jhines5713 Mercedez Benz stadium was built for both. But we all know Atlanta United owns that place. Seattle claims their stadium is for both too but we all know that's a lie. We'll give it to them since they won Champions League last go around. The joke of a club are Chicago and New England. Chicago doesn't have much of a fan base because they started at Bridge View, which is not Chicago. Then there's New England, who's owner cares way more about the NFL team than it's MLS club. May I point out that they are notorious for using NFL lines on a football match. What a f*cking joke of a club. This isn't the MLS of the past anymore.
@@totallybored5526 I said some. For example, in Seria A most of their stadiums are literally falling apart.

Cincy, LAFC, and Minnesota got the top 3 for me. Really happy with all of the new soccer specific stadiums after SKC and Orlando set up the blueprints. Portland and ATL provide some diversity but fumble the bag with the turf smh
I'm not a fan of the Yankee Stadium for soccer. TFC Stadium lacks something as well. Most of the US base stadiums are pretty nice, with decent capacity.
I've been a few times to TFC stadium its not bad, decent atmosphere, stands all close to the pitch. But there are quite a few here (over ten) that are much better, I'd say it was mid or average.
In 2027 NYC FC in Queens, New York
You have a lot of nice stadiums over there. Now fill them!
MLS would be great football league if Americans would be interested of football.
They are, trust me from a person who lives here; they are interested in ALL Sports.
To say we are not interested in football is just plain ignorant. Don't believe everything you hear about the US. Most Americans are immigrants from other countries, including my self. I grew up loving football and in my native country, we call it football instead of soccer. But regardless what it's called, believe me, Americans nowadays go crazy for this sport. So much so that MLS have surpassed the NHL (hockey) in popularity and knocking on baseball's doors. Americans love sports in general. That's why there are so many of them here.
@@mrfilamfishing couldnt have said it any better myself. People on the outside that have never stepped foot in america constantly making wild accusations about the culture here. Its laughable. Soccer is going to be a top 3-4 sport in america by 2030
My personal favorites are Red Bull Arena, Q2, and TQL. Red Bull was the first MLS stadium that truly impressed me, and it still does; it raised the bar for sure. All the soccer specific stadiums in the MLS that came before it were very, very cookie cutter and mediocre.
Whats the soundtrack ?

Between 18k/23k and Doing better every year
RFK Stadium is the best.
It is crazy to think that the Indy 11 new stadium is better then all of these stadiums and the Indy 11 are in the USL
Yankee Stadium looks ridiculous with a football pitch, that is not appropriate are they going to get a new stadium built? What about New England and Chicago at least the stands are in the right place unlike Yankee Stadium but they need smaller stadiums too I would think.
edit: I guess I could ask the same thing about Atlanta, Charlotte and Seattle.
Atlanta is really the only team in the league who can sell out the *entire* stadium for some games. Normally they close off the upper deck to limit seating capacity to 42,500, but they impressively did not record a single game with attendance lower than 42,500 last season. They had at least three games last season that saw 67,000+ show up.
If you’re wondering how i know this, I’m a big fan of useless sports stats lmao
Yes they will have a new stadium built. Nothing so far for New England and Chicago.
Atlanta, Charlotte and Seattle are good stadiums they share with NFL and have large fan base for soccer clubs. Doubt they will get soccer specific stadiums ever.
@@sirokat Wow OK that is impressive attendance I had no idea. The Mercedes Stadium there is beautiful so given what you wrote about attendance they are probably in a good stadium for the club.

It just shows how incredibly bad the MLS is. Level of a 6th league, if at all.
Miami, in last place, hasn't won in what feels like two centuries, but is now winning 11 games in a row and also winning titles. Because of 1-2 new additions? This doesn't even exist in a 6th league. This presentation is very misleading. Red Bull Arena. The stadium 🏟️ is physically located in the town of Harrison, Hudson County, New Jersey. Yet, they the team is called the New York Red Bulls 🐂. I'm shocked that some MLS stadiums have standing sections. How did Europe end up building worse stadiums than the U.S.? What a shame on us. Let's stop being dumb and let's finally allow safe standing. Germany has shown that it's possible.

European stadiums are better than the corporate crap of NFL stadiums. MLS is doing good adopting the style of European stadiums and none of that lame roofed nonsense of NFL.
MLS England stadiums
European stadiums are not better than NFL stadiums. A good bit of NFL stadiums have a larger capacity than most of the major European stadiums except for the 2 clubs involved in the Spanish El Classico. Stop with the stuck-up attitude about stadium names, there is "corporate crap" in the names of major Europeans clubs like Arsenal, Manchester City, Bayern Munich, and Borussia Dortmund just to name a few. Also, Real Madrid and PSG have had talks of renaming their stadium to a corporate sponsor name. The roofs I understand you complaining about but trying to make it sound like major European clubs don't have stadiums named after major corporations is completely disingenuous.
You're smoking dick if you think European stadiums are better than NFL stadiums. SoFi, Aligiant stadium and the Mercedes Benz Stadium are better than Wembley, The Bernanabeu, Allianz Arena and Tottenham Hotspur stadium
@@jacksonwright6029 I'm not even talking about corporate branding so much as the fact that these American stadiums are just fancy pants entertainment venues.
