I wore The Dreamer during the 90s & early 2000s, then they discontinued it…But I have 4 original bottles in storage, 1 bottle is open & wear it on occasion & still smells the same after having it for 20 years !!!
Hey stuart, long term subscriber here from my personal account. Now on my own fragrance review account which i started in august. Just wanna say your content is very valuable and refreshing. I totally trust that what you are saying is your honest opinion.
Great choices, all of them! My favorite gentlmanly scents are Platinum Egoiste by Chanel, Dior Homme Parfum and Rochas Moustache. They ooze refinement and class
I really lean hard into florals myself, much more than woody notes. What makes them masculine or feminine depends on the base and, of course, the wearer. The Dreamer is a great example.
Lalique makes some really nice fragrances that are priced down with the bargain basement “I’ve never heard of this” scents. Nice to see them get some love. In the future, maybe a review of a few of their fragrances since they are so inexpensive. Encre Noir EDP is one I’d like to hear about as well as White on black.
AHSEE has been my signature scent for some time. Women love it on me, plus I get very good longevity and good projection in the first four hours. But my most gentlemanly fragrance is Grey Vetiver EDT. Some other great picks in this respect: Platinum Égoïste, Green Irish Tweed, Eau Sauvage, Eau Intense Vétiver, Beau de Jour.
I have JPG LMLP & LBPG too. I have 2 bottles of LBPG. I love The Dreamer too, thinking about picking up a 2nd bottle. But finding a bottle pre 2011 means paying big $$$
Holy macerated Herod. Is that the first decant ever of Herod lol. Mine is just a few shades from clear. Oh yeah CAHSEE is forever in my top 5. 👍 video thx.
Go for the Eau de Toilette. The new/current line up of Habit Rouge/s are very potent and the EDT is much closer to the original than the Eau de Parfume.
Duuude. Nice to hear from you man. Glad you enjoyed it. Was surprised how much I liked the tuberose. I hope you have a great Christmas Chad and I really appreciate all of your kindness this year. You're such a good guy.
@@ScentsofStyle99 Thank you for the kind words, man. Merry Xmas to you as well and we will most certainly meet up a few times next year to film some more videos for sure.
Chanel AHSEE is probably the most youthful scent in the line, but still great nonetheless. I really enjoy Gentlemen Only too - but give Bentley for Men Black Edition a try. Same exact scent profile, but denser, richer, and better performance! Cheers!
Yes so true! Some things don't die ! They just need the dust wiped off! I saw replica at Burlington it was Woodstock description was fresh bud and patchouli I thought I'm not wearing that lol! Was just 10ml. 16.99 I should of got for collecting purposes! Who knows might be discontinued? I could always mail too you for review lol. If it's still there that was week ago I may get for the sake of lol.thanks
Completely agree man! As a 28 year old younger man, my wife and I feel that we are kind of like the last generation that grew up in a time where great men were men and great women were women and it meant something to have some classic traditional values and sophistication about yourself! Not people just clamoring for clicks and status online… I’m hopeful that the woke stuff is kind of dying out and agenda pushing seems to be dying thank god haha! Trust me I agree, good women want real actual men back in the world. Not the shaggy dog looking lazy TikTok boys haha! Some great fragrances I love are ADG Parfum 2024, Terre D’Hermes, Green Irish tweed, Oud Wood, Dior Eau Savage Parfum, Prada Lomme Intense, and maybe something like Blue de Chanel EDP
The Habit Rouge DNA started in the mid 60s and that's what I was getting at, however, you're right, that specific fragrance was 2003. I should have been more clear.
Hello from Paris France ! Wanted to tell you about A*Men Fantasm, branded Mugler, but it's actually L'Oreal. It's opening on a coconut note, remember that you once said you like that. Sorry to post this here, you can erase it when you read it. Best regards, Razvan Tasca

Thank you. I'll be watching and definitely will sub. Congrats on the channel.
@ScentsofStyle99 wow. Thanks so much Stuart. You and both Chad's. Wow 😁
The Encre Noire Sport is surprising. Thank you for the list.
Great choices, all of them! My favorite gentlmanly scents are Platinum Egoiste by Chanel, Dior Homme Parfum and Rochas Moustache. They ooze refinement and class
Great list and individual reviews. Thank you
Thanks very much.

Bois Imperial would be perfect on this list!

Encre Noir Edp is a disaster avoid it like the plague. It's longevity is horrific go instead with the edt or sport.
Great video & sentiments, Stuart. Your channel has gone from a new discovery to one of my favorites this year.
Thank you. That's great news.
Great list indeed!! Thanks for your great videos, man!!
Thanks very much!

Chanel is Chanel right. Awesome sauce.

Ha ha ha. I have no idea why it's so red. It's only a couple of years old.
A great nod to the nearly extinct species--- The gentlemen. I consider myself one! Lots of great fragrance ideas in the video....
Thanks very much. Glad you enjoyed it
Need to add Habit Rouge to my "gotta get" list. Well done! Cheers!

@@stogies3 Thanks for the information. Cheers!
Thanks Tim. It's a definite classic. DNA goes back to mid 60s.
I was surprised to like Cafe Tuberose myself. Enjoyed the video, brother.

Cool video. Good list👍 . SOTD: Missoni Wave. SOTN: Afnan 9pm.
Thanks Adrian

We're on the same page for sure. Great comment.
If the women want a chivalrous return then they must make some big changes as well 🤙🏾
Yes, definitely
To me "The Dreamer" smells a overloaded ashtray
❤
Thank you.
Guerlain Habit Rouge Eau de Parfum came out in 2003 not in 1966.

Man ,take loewe 7 cobalt

I had no idea. Yeah, I love coconut. That's interesting
At The Barbers is discontinued
Yes, but it's still widely available. I saw it at my local Sephora last week.
I honestly don’t have a lot of faith in the direction of Dior under Francis Kurkdjian.
ME NEITHER.
