Wow, didn´t know that it actually clips at 0dB even if Soft Clip button is NOT engaged! That changes everything! I now use Analog Clip mode (without color, high quality mode off and Soft clip button off) on the master and get super close to how FL Soft Clipper sounds, which i always was after and didn´t get no matter what Soft Clipper i tried. Even made a video about it on my channel. Thank you so much for that information! ❤
I've been using the Ableton stock saturator for at least 3 years and this really provided a lot of clarity as to what the effect is actually doing. Great video, this was super helpful!
king! keep making more plssss! its crazy ive been an ableton user for a living for 3 years professionally and 11 years overall and every video of yours i still learn so much
You're welcome! Thanks for watching. :) I don't use any actual analogue saturators but sometimes I'll use some analogue emulations. None in particular really though.

Thanks dude! Glad you enjoyed. :)
That's great to know about the clipping, I always wondered if Ableton had it built in and thought it must be in Saturator somewhere
It's incredibly useful. It's not the best sounding clipping, but it definitely works!
Yeah had a go, is not transparent but has helped me understand saturator better, so thanks @@matttinklermusic
