Saints Row 1 & 2 really took it away, everything after that was just plain weird and too much
3 & 4 were aiming/shooting for zanyness though
This game is trying WAY too hard to be Cyberpunk. The desert environments, vehicle handling and goofiness, poor shooting mechanics, lighting / color pallet and of course, the enemies with red health bars above their heads. It's a carbon copy minus some of the cyber element.
I miss Johnny Gat.

Theo's video is the ONLY video i've seen that actually is positive regarding the game and that's actually sad to see? like you can have proper fun with friends on here. as for solo stuff.. yeah.
it is sad but not for that reason. To me, its sad because Theo grants more importance to not ruining relationships with few big companies, as opposed to being honest, even when literally everyone else is trashing it. It's either that or he's purposefully leaning towards being against what's popular.
It's because he can relate to this style of game. Meanwhile most of saints row fans best one's was 1&2. It had a hood feeling to the game now it's all EDM tech nerds style.its like watch dogs an saints row put together 🤷🏿♂️

Saints Row 2022 Online is hilarious especially when hijacking cars or bikes; straight up Jackie Chan into (& onto) either the driver or passenger seat. 😆😂

Awesome that you went into it with an open mind. Apparently a lot of people didnt, but haters gonna hate🤷 I thought the younger characters were going to be annoying, but they werent. I really like all of them. I cringe whenever I hear the word "reboot", but Volition really did an amazing job of creating something both new and fresh, yet with the same feel as classic Saints Row. TRUE fans see that.
The game is great and super entertaining if you actually play it. I also like the characters, reminds me of living with random roomies in college lol!

Some reviews chewed this game out pretty hard, sure there are some rough edges, but I'm loving it so far.
It's undeniably an entertaining escape, and that's what Saints Row and videogames themselves have always been about for me.
It’s fun maybe but it shouldn’t be associated with saints row, horrible reboot to the title.

i beat this game pretty fun honestly all the vehicle's you can find and side missions in general its not really as bad as some people say. the character creation seems to be better then the original least that's what I think its been a while tho sense i played the old saints rows tho lol.

to be fair a lot of media these days sucks but sometimes its just people expecting perfection and getting mad when they dont get it. every major review just pisses their diaper over how they dont like it and you seem to be having a blast. people need to lean how to have fun.

What they did to saints row is the same shit they did to call of duty (edit: after skipping though the video yes skipping because the game is dog shit and should have been an April fools joke I decided the game is not worth buying saints row has been dishonored they should have just let the game die off with the respect it had)
same shit they did to call of duty, except for mw 2019, and probably the upcoming mw2. most recent fuck-ups they done to call of duty, are integrating Black Ops Cold War and Vanguard into warzone and fcking up MW's multiplayer because of it, also BO4 would be another well-known fuck-up. also, pants 100% got paid to enjoy this game, or maybe he doesn't have that hgih of a standard for games that aren't racing games

Awesome game, playing it and it is a long time since I had so much fun with a game. Don’t get the hate it gets.
Watch LegacyKillaHD's video on it and you'll understand. It suffers from being advertised as a Saints' Row game and being objectively worse than every single one before it, having horrible writing, being a bug fest, and feeling soulless. Only good thing I heard about this game is the customization. Tho I won't condemn you for enjoying it, as I sometimes tend to like some games hated by their respective communities, one example being NFS Undercover. I loved that game and still do, but I can still see why it was so widely hated.
