There is a small bit of canon that was placed in the filler. (If I'm bad at describing it just watch the beginning of ep 55.) There are 2 strips of ocean on the outer edges of the Grand Line called the Calm Belt, (like the grand line is a hotdog, and the Calm Belt is the hotdog roll) it has no wind or currents and is the breeding grounds for Sea Kings (the massive sea monsters you see in the opening) making it a seemingly impossible barrier to cross, that's why they needed to enter through Reverse Mountain instead of just sailing across the ocean.
I'm pretty sure if Tashigi had amnesia it would have been mentioned, Kuina is dead, if she's alive it completely ruins the whole message of Zoro's backstory.

noo you skipped the barrel scene in ep 53 it was my favorite scene ahah. but as the other guy said in the comments, yeah at the beginning of the show they did this thing where they put half filler half canon (half of ep 55 is canon (the explanation to why you cannot enter the grandline by just sailing is there so i recommend watching that off stream) anyways its true there is little filler but that results in the worst pacing ever further down the road... which is, yeah, a bit frustrating sometimes. 🤷♀️
Yeah I should’ve added it but I think I cut it because I didn’t really say much except for “Hell yeah dude!” Or maybe it was cut by accident. And I thought I was watching the half canon/filler episodes but I guess the list I’m using is wrong. I’ll try and find a better one 👍🏼
