I was 16 years old when I hear this theme the first time, I was dropped by my first girlfriend, (not my first love), but any ways I got drunk with this music and draw a drama to my virgin life, just because I emphasized with the idea of losing your love, or because I was a romantic just anxious to live a romantic story. I don't remember her name, just her face and her clothe (?). Years after I could see the movie, and I felt like My fake story is enough for me, I don't need that horrible and devastating drama in my life, then I felt like I'm too young for that drama, or that is too much drama for any life at any age.
So if here is anybody who really lived that kind of loss. My hart and my prays are with you.

I experienced in real life the pain some time after, I didn't wanted it but I learned after that happen from time to time, from peopl6 to people.
And you have to harden your skin to protect your heart.

In 1970 I was in elementary school, fifth grade. I used to look at a record cover with this picture on it and wonder what this movie, that people thought was so super-duper, was all about. My sister pointed at the photo of Ali and just said, "She dies."

I finally watched this film after coming across clips on TH-cam a while ago and I have to say I was really disappointed by the acting and dialogue (though I understand it was the 70s and standards were different at that time). I wasn’t moved by the love story because I felt the two leads were very stoic and cold with one another and I didn’t buy that they were enamored with each other. With that said, I absolutely loved the musical theme. The theme deserved a better movie lol
