Slovenia is a gem, and its cities (Ljubljana, Maribor and Ptuj) are really enjoyable,. peaceful, clean and heart-warming, with fantastic scenery of nature as well for rafting, hut-to-hutting. However - while maybe by geography Slovenia can be considered partly Balkan, its society, traditions and culture are absolutely not, but typical Central European.
