Great detail: In Adora's dream of a future with Catra, Catra is wearing shoes. Catra doesn't like wearing shoes because it slows her down and makes it harder to fight (like when she had to wear boots in that episode up in the snowy area). The character/costume design in the show is always very deliberate. I remember Rae Geiger talking about the Season 4 design for Catra, and why she cut off her little hair tufts; because it was where Shadow Weaver touched her and she associated the tufts with emotional vulnerability, something that she never wanted to show again.
Catra was about to die, and before that, she had reflected on what she really felt, so she wanted to redeem herself, saving glimmer and falling behind because she thought that she adored her no longer loved her, but when she adored, she took so much risk for her, she understood that adore has not forgotten her
this finale hit harder than i would have EVER imagined. i had steven universe for years, but this ending made me cry for DAYS, i’m honestly still not okay. your reaction was so good and made me cry all over again. i guess we were all going through the same thing, huh?
I cried a lot over both endings. I was super attached to Steven Universe, and the Future finale, along with the SU tribute video that aired afterwards, absolutely destroyed me. I sobbed so much I was literally exhausted for like 2 days afterwards. I've never experienced something like that, even with Avatar: the Last Airbender or Legend of Korra (and you KNOW I was crying over Korrasami for a long time). She-Ra has been different, though, somehow. I've cried a lot but without that exhaustion SU gave me, thankfully. But at the same time, I just can't stop thinking about it now. Even when I think about other stuff for a while, my mind always seems to come back to She-Ra/the finale. I feel like the ending made it an even bigger part of my life but now it's over :(

I think it was Noelle that described SW's sacrifice as one last manipulation of Catra and Adora. SW is a person that has always seen herself as a good guy because she doesn't believe she's ever done anything wrong. In her eyes, obviously. And of course Adora and Catra cry because that was their sort parental figure. They didn't really forgive her, because SW did a lot of messed up stuff to them with no regret, but Catra was able to get some kind of closure because SW saying she's proud of her was all she ever wanted from her. Anyway, it's been like four days since I watched it and yeah, I haven't stopped thinking about it. This show had its ups and down but it was a journey worth taking. It's a beautiful show with a beautiful message of love and connection and everything from the swelling music to the gorgeous animation of the now magic filled Etheria, to the new BFS being together.... It's the only way this show could have ended and it's everything I ever wanted from it and more.

Every time I hear Catra's line "So, please, just this once. Stay" I can't help but cry. The build-up was so beautiful and the voice actors really gave it their all this season ;;;;;;;;;;;

It's so interesting to me how Catradora was something Noelle always wanted to happen but never knew if she could make it happen until the end. I remember reading an article where she talks about how during the writing process of the final season she wanted the leeway to get catra and adora together by the end of it, but she was so afraid the executives would say no because they had to reel her back in the earlier seasons, but luckily by that time season 1 had reached the public and the crazy amount of people wanting Catradora got every exec to give a go ahead on the relationship and i think we're all very happy about that. If you want to keep delving into the show even though its over i recommend checking Noelles twitter cause shes posting a lot of articles and interviews that her and the crew have done talking about She-Ra, Catradora, the relationships, and the characters in more depth. I haven't been able to tear my eyes away from it for a moment with all the fanart she's been retweeting haha. This show was just so. So. SO good.
When you started crying when adora and catra kissed I almost started crying. That show was amazing in every way, and it ended perfectly. I’m really glad my mom showed me this show, at first I didn’t want to see this because of other reboots that I saw. But I’m really glad I was able to see this show and I want everyone else who starts to watch this show enjoys it as much as we all did( sorry if it’s a lot to read, I had more things to say then most)
As someone who paid no attention to the show, then got sucked in just looking at the finale, I'd say someone who's as invested as you has more than enough right to be emotional about something that effective.

Lol I paid no attention whenever someone mentiones She-Ra, then this show kept getting mentioned so much that I caved and watched 'She-Ra Out Of Context' (which was in my recomendations) and then fell into this fandom while only knowing the basics of what happened and most of the main characters' names. Now I'm obsessed with a show I haven't seen and will most likely see if there's any repeats showing on television anytime soon as I don't have Netflix and it would be greedy of me to ask my parents for a Netflix account when I already have Disney+. I love how when Adora learns to become She-Ra on her own, her new outfit incorporates iconic bits of her friends' (note Catra's crown, Bow's heart, etc.). It's a brilliant visual cue for where her power comes from.
46:16 I think the fact that Catra was able to change so much so quickly also shows that she had that in her the whole time, she just needed a positive environment to thrive and show it. Like Adora said back in the first episode: "I know you're not a bad person, Catra."
From what I understand, summoning She-Ra depends on emotional clarity. Light Hope thought that emotions got in the way of She-Ra, thus she told Adora to “let go” of her emotions. Shadow Weaver tells Adora to forget Catra because Adora was feeling so many conflicted emotions and Catra just highlighted them. They both technically work but are very temporary and unhealthy solutions. In the end, the best thing to do was to let Adora to feel her emotions and accept them. These emotions were what was telling her that she wanted to keep living and have a life with Catra, and that’s how they won in the end.
That’s all I want honestly just some cute feel interactions without characters who need more screen time or new relationships that deserve time to blossom I mean hell I really want know what Hordak and Entrapta will be up to! (And Wronghordak XD)

The beautiful thing about adora and catra is that it is not the gay relationship it is just a relationship that grew over seasons and there were hints and everyone thought that it would not be possible that two main female characters could get this and they just did it. The relationshiparc is not that they are gay it is about love,anger because adora left catra, redemtion and how to show and except feelings and that is so beautiful I felt like I waited for something like that without even really realising i did☺️

Hi. I just saw your reaction video. I have just completed watching She-Ra. I can't process what I saw. Every reaction you had I had them, too. Even down to hot tears and stuffy nose. I don't know what I will do now that it over. I can't get them out of my mind. I saw so much of myself in each of these characters. Every one of them has some parts that reflect who we are. She-Ra and the rest of her friends are so well developed. The creative team really knew how to make us care for them. Really care what happens to every single person, especially Catra and Adora. I didn't know how they would end up. I just knew it was clearly painful to watch them fight all the time. As the show progressed I got so invested and at the seat of my pants. I loved them. Catra and Adora. I wanted them to be together. I'm so happy we got to see them be together. I am old enough to have seen the original She-Ra back in 1985. While I have loved that cartoon as a child, I cannot in all honestly, see the original the same way ever again. I love your reactions to this show. I appreciate you sharing your reaction because it made me feel a little better. I have been sad ever since I finished the show. I said all the same things you said. I told my partner that I felt like I lost someone. It wasn't until I heard YOU say all the same things that I realized why this show impacted me so much. Catra has been the only relatable character I have ever encountered in a cartoon. Or at least I have connected to her more than any others I have seen. Catra's behaviour after having been mentally and physically abused is so real. And it can be hard to change those defensive habits. So I think I can explain what happened here in semi-scientific terms. A lot of people think that "happy" and "sad" are opposites to each other, but if you look at the brain chemistry behind what makes people feel feelings; there are strong emotions, and there are weak emotions, and the difference between a positive and negative emotion is FRIGHTENINGLY subtle. Seeing Catra and Adora kiss? That hit a fucking 12/10 on the Emotion Button. And that's totally fucking valid.
Ha, how did they get this from the 80s cartoon? As a fan who grew up with He man and She Ra Cartoons I would say they added character development. To give the haters something Noelle Stevenson really did tear SheRa down to its bearest bones and then build upwards, I just happen to think it was an improvement.

I remember reading an article where she talks about how during the writing process of the final season she wanted the leeway to get catra and adora together by the end of it, but she was so afraid the executives would say no because they had to reel her back in the earlier seasons, but luckily by that time season 1 had reached the public and the crazy amount of people wanting Catradora got every exec to give a go ahead on the relationship and i think we're all very happy about that.
If you want to keep delving into the show even though its over i recommend checking Noelles twitter cause shes posting a lot of articles and interviews that her and the crew have done talking about She-Ra, Catradora, the relationships, and the characters in more depth. I haven't been able to tear my eyes away from it for a moment with all the fanart she's been retweeting haha. This show was just so. So. SO good.

When you started crying when adora and catra kissed I almost started crying. That show was amazing in every way, and it ended perfectly. I’m really glad my mom showed me this show, at first I didn’t
want to see this because of other reboots that I saw. But I’m really glad I was able to see this show and I want everyone else who starts to watch this show enjoys it as much as we all did( sorry if it’s a lot to read, I had more things to say then most)

Lol I paid no attention whenever someone mentiones She-Ra, then this show kept getting mentioned so much that I caved and watched 'She-Ra Out Of Context' (which was in my recomendations) and then fell into this fandom while only knowing the basics of what happened and most of the main characters' names. Now I'm obsessed with a show I haven't seen and will most likely see if there's any repeats showing on television anytime soon as I don't have Netflix and it would be greedy of me to ask my parents for a Netflix account when I already have Disney+.

I love how when Adora learns to become She-Ra on her own, her new outfit incorporates iconic bits of her friends' (note Catra's crown, Bow's heart, etc.). It's a brilliant visual cue for where her power comes from.

From what I understand, summoning She-Ra depends on emotional clarity. Light Hope thought that emotions got in the way of She-Ra, thus she told Adora to “let go” of her emotions. Shadow Weaver tells Adora to forget Catra because Adora was feeling so many conflicted emotions and Catra just highlighted them. They both technically work but are very temporary and unhealthy solutions. In the end, the best thing to do was to let Adora to feel her emotions and accept them. These emotions were what was telling her that she wanted to keep living and have a life with Catra, and that’s how they won in the end.

The beautiful thing about adora and catra is that it is not the gay relationship it is just a relationship that grew over seasons and there were hints and everyone thought that it would not be possible that two main female characters could get this and they just did it.

Hi. I just saw your reaction video. I have just completed watching She-Ra. I can't process what I saw. Every reaction you had I had them, too. Even down to hot tears and stuffy nose. I don't know what I will do now that it over. I can't get them out of my mind. I saw so much of myself in each of these characters. Every one of them has some parts that reflect who we are. She-Ra and the rest of her friends are so well developed. The creative team really knew how to make us care for them. Really care what happens to every single person, especially Catra and Adora. I didn't know how they would end up. I just knew it was clearly painful to watch them fight all the time. As the show progressed I got so invested and at the seat of my pants. I loved them. Catra and Adora. I wanted them to be together. I'm so happy we got to see them be together. I am old enough to have seen the original She-Ra back in 1985. While I have loved that cartoon as a child, I cannot in all honestly, see the original the same way ever again. I love your reactions to this show. Seeing you cry brought tears to my own eyes all over again. The show ended, but I'm not ready for it to be over. So, here I am bleeding all over the interwebs for Catradora. Thank you so much.

I appreciate you sharing your reaction because it made me feel a little better. I have been sad ever since I finished the show. I said all the same things you said. I told my partner that I felt like I lost someone. It wasn't until I heard YOU say all the same things that I realized why this show impacted me so much. Catra has been the only relatable character I have ever encountered in a cartoon. Or at least I have connected to her more than any others I have seen. Catra's behaviour after having been mentally and physically abused is so real. And it can be hard to change those defensive habits. I felt represented in ever single way in this show, so I am going to also be sad for a while, but at least I know I am not alone. Thanks again!

So I think I can explain what happened here in semi-scientific terms. A lot of people think that "happy" and "sad" are opposites to each other, but if you look at the brain chemistry behind what makes people feel feelings; there are strong emotions, and there are weak emotions, and the difference between a positive and negative emotion is FRIGHTENINGLY subtle.
Seeing Catra and Adora kiss? That hit a fucking 12/10 on the Emotion Button.

Ha, how did they get this from the 80s cartoon? As a fan who grew up with He man and She Ra Cartoons I would say they added character development. To give the haters something Noelle Stevenson really did tear SheRa down to its bearest bones and then build upwards, I just happen to think it was an improvement.

This show was so well-done, I can't wait for Noelle's next big project. That woman recreated entire tropes from scratch and from what I understand fought SO HARD to make this show what it is that she deserves EVERYTHING we can give her. Especially our love.
I loved the series, it is unreplacable in my eyes. It was amazing, there is nothing else like this which makes me want to hold my memories of watching it close. Catra is personally one of my favorite characters and my spree of downloading 50+ pics of her has already begun.
