Great video! Thanks for the tips!! I have used those battery holders with the switch also. I ended up hot gluing the switch to the on position and installed my own power switch. Thanks again🚀🙂
Love your channel! I would Really like to see more videos on lighting and electronics. I build miniatures and dioramas and would like to add some lighting to them. This video is an excellent starting point for me! Keep up the amazing builds!
Found your channel after listening to a couple of your podcasts. Would love more “behind the scenes” like this! I am totally new to diorama making, but have been wargaming for a while. Excited to see where this hobby takes me.
Thank you so much for sharing a bit of your process and tips on lighting. It's very cool and definitely helpful. I would love to see more content on working with small electronics. (Switches could definitely be their own video, easy!)
Hey Mate, nice video! It's always good to see more content around hobbyist electronics, it can be so daunting to get into. I have a background in Avionics (fancy word for electronics on planes) and trying to get into diorama building for a personal project. That's how I came across your channel. As im sure you would probably cringe at my diorama building, I had a few moments of cringe with your soldering and explanation. I dont say that to try and point out the problems or bring you down in anyway, what your doing obviously works for you and is fit for purpose so dont let my words stop you. I just had a funny moment of cringing at the video and then had the realization thats something you would probably do while looking at my work haha. That being said, if you do want to get some additional pointers on this sort of work let me know, id be happy to share some knowledge.
I appreciate it. Just sharing the basics for those coming from zero knowledge. Far from being an expert in electronics. Would love to perfect it more but it’s works for me for the past 20 years also lol 😂
Do you ever use resistors when the LED and power source are both at 3V? I heard it can prolong the life span of LEDs by using a small (e.g. 10 Ohm) resistor
@@David_Miniatures Oh right so you buy pre made styrene tubes and then bend to shape? bloody genius!!, you're so giving with your knowledge... you're a rare breed!! thank you

Thank you so much I’m glad you liked it!
I gotta get me those filament LEDs, those are so cool!

@@cosmereinminiature will do!
Those LED Filaments are awesome. Might have to add them to my Lego Friends and Seinfeld sets
Great idea

@@MissiveCauseIMissYou Thank you I can’t wait to share more!
Great to see the tutorials and build secrets (especially on the lighting topic!). Looking forward to what you have in store next!
Awesome, thank you!
Bro can’t wait to see you get a huge following here. Love the IG content
Thank you brother. And you are my first official comment on this new channel!
Great Tutorial!
Can't wait to see more!
Would love to hear about switches! Great channel!

How do you connect more than one LED light but with one switch?, do you use a Bus
Nope you can just solder them in parallel
Thanks David, your studio lighting video is so useful. You are the Bees Knees, the dogs bollocks 🎉 thank you
Haha thanks

I didn’t much at the time I had made this video because I used to buy LEDs with built in resistors but now I do from time to time yes.
@@David_Miniatures Built in resistors... I have a lot more to learn. What a great tip!
Can I also ask how you create your tubular drainpipes, 3D printed?
Nope just styrene

Yes sir it’s that simple
Bro nice but were a link led filament not menshan your description😂😂
