At the very least, they should have faked an emergency, like a gas or water leak, and used an FBI agent. Or, cut the power and have HIM complain.

His wife was released from prison in 2011. And he was ordered released from prison by a judge in 2022 so he could social distance and avoid COVID. I can find no update or parole information on neither of them.

He was only going for the drawers, not the vaults. Vaults are time consuming and increase chance of getting caught exponentially.
Go to your own bank and try to withdrawal even 6-7k they won’t have it and you’ll have to “schedule” a day to get it

Bank notes have a numerical code. Anytime it is circulated through a bank or Treasury dept it is logged. Hence the phrase money trail. That's why people try to launder their stolen money and why it takes time to launder it fully.
