Hab 2:4 quoted in Rom 1:17 is probably better translated "the just shall live by his faithfulness." - if you are starting from a Hebrew version of this verse (Masoretic Text). Also, in the Greek NT, the word "faith" can also be translated as "faithfulness" (3 out of 100 places in the NT). Because of this I suggest that a possible (and I think better) translation of v 17 could be "...from faith to faithfulness, as it is written: the just shall live by his faithfulness." God receives people by faith alone, but brings them to a place of where that faith is acted out in faithfulness (otherwise we don't have saving faith; faith without works is dead). Abraham is the forerunner of this model. This translation/interpretation also expresses the "power" of the Gospel mentioned in v16 in making us faithful. Further, v18 gives us the negative contrast to faithfulness in showing us what lack of faith, leading to unfaithfulness, looks like. "Suppressing the truth in unrighteousness" is an expressed lack of faith in a righteous and just God because we want to behave unrighteously. Romans is mostly focused on convincing Jews that faith alone is sufficient to enter, but not finish, the Way. The Jewish nation had plenty of painful experience in their history with the issue of faithfulness so perhaps rehashing that was less needful for them.
Thanks for posting these studies by Chuck. Like Paul he finished the course and kept the faith. He had a way of expounding scripture that certainly helped me. Looking onto Jesus the author and finisher of our hope and faith. We are living through Romans 1 today.

The book of Romans is where we learn to install the 4 Pillars of Faith that is put on the Foundation Jesus Christ built. This is a critical book to properly build your house so when the storm comes you will not fall.
A Jew by the name of Jesus came to save already saved? Eph 1:4, "For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless". The story or the rant that he came to save the people, is just that: a rant by a very few angry, hateful, ill-wishing Jews. Christians also thank God for bread, forgiveness of sins, peace, health, etc., but not for getting their Faith from him. Why is that? Because priests do not tell them that their Faith is from God. If they did, believers would not ever condemn the unbelievers for not believing in God because, it is God who prevented them from believing; ie decided to accept some and reject others. So, are Eph 1:4 and 2:8 and numerous other such verses true or false: we reject God and not God us? Priest will, of course, not talk about it!
Romans 1:3 is talking about the seed of Mary which is according to David of the FLESH. Genesis 3:15 proves this when God says he will put enmity between thy seed(satan) and HER seed(Mary).

Roman's 13:1-7 is not properly understood, or preached. These verses have been misinterpreted and is leading many people astray. For the true interpretation you need to see my video THE TRUE INFORMATION OF ROMANS 13:1-7. Jesus said, take care that you be not deceived. So take care, and see my video, and overcome the deception.
My KJV reads Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him: but the just shall live by his faith. then it lists 3 other scriptures John 3;36, 2 Cor 5:7 and Gal 3:11.

No one can come to the Father expect through Christ. Christ made a way into God the Father through his sacrifice for sin. Before Christ the Jews new Jehovah but they did not know him as father. You as a Muslim are a son of Abraham but you cannot be God's child unless you are born of the spirit. When you are truley baptised in the Holy Spirit, it works at healing the soul, with understanding of the scripture. You will just automatically know and have a, ah-ha moment! This is the the "knowingness" of the Kingdom. The knowing, sometimes referred to as the voice of the Holy Spirit. When you are open to the recognition of supernatural knowing, then you hear the voice of God.
He never said you have to be a scholar to understand Scripture. He in fact very often states “don’t believe a thing Chuck Missler tells you, rather ‘search the Scriptures diligently to prove these things be true’”.
Chuck is great BUT as a teacher I wish he would stay more direct and on topic - he goes off on so many tangents and gets repetitive that he gets difficult to follow the main jest - he often falls victim to contradicting himself.
Better than god loves me cuz the bible tells me so. Notice how he rarely if ever relates the bible to his own personal endeavors. Dudes old, but this generation of preachers we got now are lightweight pandering salesman.

Jews speak ill of him and his mother and christians say he is GOD or the son of GOD or GOD him self or one in 3, we muslims with the grace of GOD say ,He was the messiah and the messenger of GOD just like the other messengers ,Abraham,Moses,Noah ..David and rest of them .They all came with the same message, even though the rules and regulations changed but basic message never changed ,Adam being the first prophet and the father of humanity (who was bowed down to by the Angels,(created by light) As respect for Adam not as worship ,all of the Angels compiled to this order of Allah except iblees ,who said you created me from fire (he was a jinn) and created him(Adam) from clay(the jinn race were created from smoke less fire and were on earth before us and are still present ,iblees was,not a fallen angle, jinns are a creation of free will like us .hidden from human eyes and are able to transform in to humans and animals and also able to fly ,Allah will judge them just like us and their destination either physical paradise or physical hell fire after physical resurrection, ) and Muhammad peace be upon him being the last prophet and messenger. all of them called to the worship of One GOD , peace be upon them all.

Quran is the only word of GOD preserved in its original form, it has dozens of miracles ,including scientific and historical ,like the big bang , expansion of the universe, every living thing is created from water ,embryology in details ,black holes ,mountains as pegs ,different types of clouds ,water circle, Queen bee ,genders in plants ,Iron not from earth rather send down, ants speaking to each other , the preservation of the body of pharaoh as sign from Allah for the oppressors and much much more ,just type Islam and science and the above mentioned things in internet ,u tube and be surprised .May Allah guide the christians they can't prove the authenticity of the 4 gospels ,which were written 70-90 years after jesus ,mark and Luke never met Jesus , the title according to mathew was added in the second century and the gospel of John was written the last after 70 years of Jesus ,yet John suppose to be the beloved.
Don't forget in the council of Nicaea 325 years after Jesus ,the emperor and bishops rejected all those Gospels which mentioned That Jesus was the Messenger and the Messiah NOT the Son of GOD. Even authors of the revised standard version bible comprising of 50 scholars has declared that the word BEGOTTEN and trinity in John as
FABRICATION and not part of the bible.
Islam does not allow any intermediates between Allah and his creation. One is ordered to worship ALLAH directly seeking His help and forgiveness, All sins will be forgiven by Allah (GOD )with the exception of The sin association partners with Allah ,e.g. saying Jesus is GOD Or son of GOD ,in this case eternity in hell fire (I pray all those who read this,that Allah opens their hearts to Islam
As for Mary she is considers the woman of all times so much so that there is a whole chapter in the Quran in her name called soora muryam

O Mary, be devoutly obedient to your Lord and prostrate and bow with those who bow [in prayer]."
(And mention] when the angels said, Mary, indeed Allah gives you good tidings of a word from Him, whose name will be the Messiah, Jesus, the son of Mary - distinguished in this world and the Hereafter and among those brought near [to Allah ].in 3:46ّ
He will speak to the people in the cradle and in maturity and will be of the righteous.in 3,47
She said, "My Lord, (Allah ,GOD)how will I have a child when no man has touched me?" [The angel] said, "Such is Allah ; He creates what He wills. When He decrees a matter, He only says to it, 'Be,' and it is.َّ
And in Quran ,chapter 3-59 GOD says
Indeed, the example of Jesus to Allah is like that of Adam. He created Him from dust; then He said to him, "Be," and he was.

Jesus will declare his innocence in front of Allah (GOD) on the day of judgment Al-Ma'idah 5:116
And [beware the Day] when Allah will say, "O Jesus, Son of Mary, did you say to the people, 'Take me and my mother as deities besides Allah ?'" He will say, "Exalted are You! It was not for me to say that to which I have no right. If I had said it, You would have known it. You know what is within myself, and I do not know what is within Yourself. Jesus will return to kill the false messiah (dajal) and rule on earth as a just ruler and command the human beings to worship ALLAH alone ,just like what He did when He was on earth for the first time

No one can come to the Father expect through Christ. Christ made a way into God the Father through his sacrifice for sin. Before Christ the Jews new Jehovah but they did not know him as father. You as a Muslim are a son of Abraham but you cannot be God's child unless you are born of the spirit. Jesus Christ came into the world so that those who believe in him can have the power to become a child of God. When you are truley baptised in the Holy Spirit, it works at healing the soul, with understanding of the scripture. You will just automatically know and have a, ah-ha moment! This is the the "knowingness" of the Kingdom. The knowing, sometimes referred to as the voice of the Holy Spirit. When you are open to the recognition of supernatural knowing, then you hear the voice of God.
He never said you have to be a scholar to understand Scripture. He in fact very often states “don’t believe a thing Chuck Missler tells you, rather ‘search the Scriptures diligently to prove these things be true’”.

Chuck is great BUT as a teacher I wish he would stay more direct and on topic - he goes off on so many tangents and gets repetitive that he gets difficult to follow the main jest - he often falls victim to contradicting himself.
