Hey Ken, I'm going soon on land based fishing trip up north. I was hoping if you can tell me what would be your top 5 Stickbaits to get on the trip? I'm using at the moment PE7 Tobizo with Saltiga 5000H rated for up to 140g lures.
As you know landbase fishing is very tough. You need power fight unless beech fishing. It is hard to tell you what is best 5, because all depends on which locations and situation. Those my selections are for basic general rocky area and target for big Kingfish. 1. Carpenter GT-gamma 120 (or 105) [Treble Hook] 2. Maria Rapido 230 [Treble Hook] 3. Carpenter Bluefish 120 (or 100) [Single Hook] 4. GPC SerpenPop 220 [Single Hook] 5. Fish Tripper Village Le Grand Tango240 [Single Hook] I use more heavy lure or sinking lure if strong against wind. Use more light lure and light braid if cast from the beach. Good luck bro👍

My trip was more of holiday with my partner, however I managed to stay near one of the best spots and got my first 20kg+ kingfish from the rocks with number of other up to 15kg. I struggle to find the stickbaits from your list, except the Maria Rapido that is one of my favorite lures. What size/model treble hooks do you use on the Rapido by the way?
Wow!! Congratulations!! It is all landbase fishermans dream!! So nice👍 I am using Owner ST-66 or single hook. Not really matter any hooks but I am care barbless.👍 I also love Gamakatsu GT recorder. Hook tips are goes inside and not much scratches on the lure.

Why do you have to say to everyone were you are ken?Can I go to japan and expose there fishing spots like you do here ken?Its guys like you that ruin it for the future because not everyone puts fish back dude...anyway mean trip!
there's barely many people who fish in these far remote reaches..... on top of this he only generalises spots... theres going to be thousands of rocks and beaches to stand on and cast... its not like hes giving gps location and even if he was i doubt some recreational fishos going there would "ruin" it....
