My thoughts 💬 exactly 💯. I feel that they also have personal bias towards third party companies that improve on the original yet still manage to sell these figures at affordable prices. I've been on the Third Party bandwagon since day one and I don't regret it. Emgo is my go to reviewer.
Lol emgo is literally just the best out there and nobody compares to him on reviews or showing lol just about everything he's the best and always will be
That would definitely be cool. It seems like he'd be best as a smaller figure, maybe in the 15-16" range, somewhere between Masterpiece Magnus and a full size combiner like Raiden or Superion.
Definitely. I've got the Zeta Superion and now I have the Moon Studios Raiden. Now I just need a good G1 style Computron and Defensor at about the same scale.
FWIW, I confirmed with Big Bad Toy Store that my copy of Cool Peak had the wrong set of rear wheels put on (well, half of a set of wheels). Very weird, though it appears easy to fix if I could get the right part. Unfortunately, BBTS doesn't have any other copies of the figure at the moment and nobody has returned it, so instead they just gave me a full refund and I get to keep the figure, which is mostly fine! Pretty happy with that kind of customer service. Highly recommend that people shop there.
That's one of the cool things a like about them i bought the dna upgrade kit for potp Optimus Primal and the kit was missing one of the wings for his space ship mode i call them and since they couldn't replace the part cause they where out of stock i got a refund plus i got to keep the kit then months later i got War for Cybertron Snapdragon and the figure was broken out of the box and they send me a new copy plus i got to keep the broken one i also like that they give you extra days when a pre-order item arrives and you don't have the funds right away
I bought 4 of the 6 trainbots from BBTS. This the first I bought from them and the first 3rd party TF I've bought. If this is the only combiner I get in this scale then I may as well get the one that wasn't released in the US. I might think about getting the Magic Square Devastator at some point due to the smaller scale so it takes up less space.

I have Ruination/Bruticus from the old RID cartoon, and it just looks silly next to my Masterpiece figs.
The official artwork for Raiden has the things on his back with the guns pointing out. I know this because I have a book called "Transformers: The Ark II" and it is filled with character designs form the Japanese Transformers shows in the G1 era.
Raiden and the Trainbots have taken over from Omega Supreme and Sky Lynx in the Headmasters series as the Autobots main transport. He is the LioKaiser of the Autobots. He had never lost a one-one fight when he fought against any Decepticon combiner. Devastator, Menasor, Bruticus, Abominus and Predaking were all defeated by him. He was known to have a hatred against Devastator and regards Predaking as his main rival equivalent to the rivalry between Omega and Devastator and Sky Lynx and Predaking. Even Sixshot despite using his clones and all his transformations could not defeat the combiner.
I saw your video review on MPG-02 Trainbot Getsui and I just want to say thank you as it helped me to transform the guy back into train mode. The instructions weren't so clear cut and I was getting desperate because wow, my brain just would not brain those instructions. So again, thank you!

Had two bullet shaped trains and they used one as head and shoulders and one as the left leg, and put a block on the right foot. It's like mismatched shoes. It would drive me nuts. I know Devastator has mismatched feet but this is different, this guy has matching arms and all square but the one foot. Gaddam OCD.

Another train combiner is Railracer or JRX from Transformers RiD from 2001 (Car Robots). I would love to see a masterpiece version of that or just the other RiD bots.
From what we've seen so far in pics the Takara is a little more screen accurate mold for bot mode and the train mode is a lot more accurate to the real life train, but they scaled them car bot sized which doesn't fit with the animation. I may change my mind once we see the Takara version in hand, but until then I'm really glad I have this set, not Takara.

I feel Takara already lost based on the individual bots. But it’s possible they were more worried about the combined mode and sacrificed the bot modes for combiner modes.
@@LetsGetitBoah Nah they sacrificed both Bot and Combined Modes for the train modes because their Raiden looks pretty bad, like Kaen doesn't even do anything but be the hips, Shouki is the entire torso, and the limb bots all look like they partially exploded instead of being solid pieces.
Some of the other channels who have combined the trains have the tabbing the upper and lower torso sometimes doesn't feel the most stable. It could be their copies are a bit looser. Maybe a 3rd party will release someting to help stabilize the torsos?
I've got a question are the guns bloosh compatible? Btw love the skids at the end of the vids and the intro they always make me laugh. Keep up the good work
Just picked up my Radiatron from TF Source. I'm in the process on combining them all. Thanks to your reviews I was able to really see if I wanted it. Liked every individual one and setting the final form for Radiatron.i just had to get it. I'm going to also be collecting all the Takara Tomy for Raiden. I wish Moon Studios would of included the train tracks... Also you had a rotating display stand. Mind sharing what brand is that? Thanks!

IRL, there is no way he'd be on the same size scale with Trypticon. Trypticon is made from a city after all. Then again scaling has always been off in Transformers. I know the mass shifting explanation, but who are we trying to fool there?

The combiners were shown to be as tall as skyscrapers one episode, only another episode they are only slightly taller than Optimus Prime. Optimus was constantly shown to be taller than most of the other Autobots though the Dinobots were shown to be a little taller than him.
Man I wanted this so bad. I'm probably raiden biggest fan that isn't in Japan lol. I know everything about this team and there diesel locomotive forms thanks to my love of trains and transformers but sadly I had to use my sem money on more important things and since I can't work for medical reasons it gonna take me a while to get the money to get this beast that imo is way better them the offical masterpiece release and cheaper lol. Now I just have to wait for him to restock in bbts and somewhere else
Its 6 in the original Diaclone and G1 release. It is supposed to be Devastator counterpart in Diaclone line. Takara couldnt sell Skylynx in Japan because of rights. So they rerelease the Trainbots from diaclone to tf line for Japanese Headmasters line as in Headmasters cartoon and made him Predakings rival. As why Hasbro didnt import Trainbots during G1, idk 🤷♀️.

I had a similar issue where my green zone shipped without his gun, and they just gave me a full refund. I’m very impressed by their customer support.

Your skits with Optimus Prime as an aloof self-centered dad bot are pure gold.
