I'm very much interested in slowing down my personal life as well, but I've never made it to a Tibetan monastery like this. Looks very peaceful, I can imagine it's easier in a place like this to reflect on one's personal demons and bad habits. Also interesting point that monk made about the importance of studying your soul/inner life in order to practice deep meditation (vs. empty meditation)!
Your storytelling skills are very strong! I was feeling very down today, but now I know that my problems are much smaller than my soul and my purpose! Good luck with this channel!

Hey there! Absolutely, it’s a beautiful place. You can fly from Xian to Xiahe. From the airport take a taxi to the main town and go to Nirvana hotel, it’s right next to the monastery. Great place owned by a foreigner, you will get all the info there. Hello there! Anyone can go to Xiahe, gansu province, China. There you will find the labrang monastery. There are many hotels nearby, It is a safe place. Unfortunately, it is forbidden to stay in Labrang but there are many monasteries nearby who accept visitors (In exchange for money or food).
